This product is fantastic for sanitizing laundry, especially towels! It gives you that extra peace of mind when you're worried about germs on kitchen or bath towels. Plus, I was surprised to find it works as a spot cleaner on makeup wash clothes—yay! You can buy it with or without a scent (unscented version is preferred). The process is straightforward, but to really get the sanitizing effect, you'll need to “soak” your laundry in it. I've tried both methods, and the laundry is noticeably cleaner when you soak it.

Started to use this product to wash the cloth potty pads that I leave out for my dogs in case they have an emergency while I am out of the house or sleeping. Other products were not effective. I had this for another purpose and gave it a try for this challenge. It worked so well! So, it is now my go-to. No more flowery scented cover-ups which don't address the underlying issues (and are often very expensive). No more germs, no more odors.

It completely knocks musty smells right out of towels, gym clothes, and linens. It doesn't just mask the scent; it actually neutralizes it. I love that the "Crisp Linen" scent is subtle. The fragrance doesn't aggressively come through or clash with my favorite laundry detergent smells. The laundry just feels and smells noticeably cleaner out of the dryer. Given how mindful everyone is about germs and hygiene these days, adding this to the rinse cycle gives me great peace of mind. If you struggle with stubborn laundry odors or just want that extra level of sanitization, I highly recommend keeping a jug of this on hand.

I cannot analyze the water to see if it disinfects but it has nice, but strong-smelling ingredients. My washer makes it difficult to pour in unless I pause the cycle so I pour it in the lid finger slot—that works only if I catch it in the rinse cycle.

The best product for removing weird smells. I've tried so many. This always dos the trick. I have a HE top-loading washing machine. I put just under one capful in the fabric softener spot and one capful in with the laundry (plus the regular laundry soap). Then I wash on the heaviest wash my machine has. It removes the stink every time.

I have a front loader washer. As instructed, I put it in the fabric softener cup, but sometimes if I want to also use liquid fabric softener, I will just trickle it straight over the clothes in the drum just before starting the wash cycle. It is great for clearing out odors and getting clothes completely free of bacteria and dust mites. This is particularly useful for undergarments and bedsheets. It has hardly any fragrance, a bonus in my book. It has never damaged any clothing nor left a stain of any kind. I always keep some in the laundry shelves. I still occasionally use liquid bleach, but bleach can damage clothes, where this product doesn't.

This Lysol product has been an immediate help in my laundry. It has removed stains and smells. I use it regularly on my towels and like the fresh fragrance as they are cleaned completely now I'm trying it on bedding so far it works very well to freshen the bedding.

This product is a simple to use. We are all used to putting fabric softener and detergent in our machines and it's no different. The smell is fabulous and the fact that it kills germs is what wins me over. I started buying this during Covid and when I still had my pup. My dog died a year ago. I still buy it because I love the smell of it and I like things being extra fresh and clean.

Review Title: Great for pet owners, but be careful with colors I use this sanitizer for every load of laundry because I have two dogs and want to ensure everything is thoroughly cleaned. While the product works well, I've had issues with the blue-colored version fading onto my white fabric/towels. I recommend sticking to the clear/plain version if you are washing whites. It is very easy to use and gives me peace of mind with my pets in the house.

Love the fragrance free form of this item but what I received was NOT FRAGRANCE FREE. I didn't discover that it was wrong item until I took out of closet and started to pour it and had a blue color. Then read label only to realize it was scented too. I CANNOT USE! I'm allergic to scent. Very disappointed and frustrated that it was apparently chosen or replaced by accident and without my approval.
