Lysol Laundry Sanitizer Liquid, Laundry Detergent Additive and Deodorizer, 0% Bleach, Color Safe, Laundry Supplies, Free & Clear, 90 fl oz

My man works in restoration and demolition so God only knows what his uniforms pick up during the day at work and uses this to launder his uniforms. It's amazing! Leaves them fully cleaned and sanitary and doesn't fade or make clothes dry. Also wonderful for when anyone has been sick and you can get all the germs out of the towels, sheets and their clothes. A good investment!

I've been using this product since I got married 48 yrs ago. I love this product, I dont have to worry about discoloration in my clothes, my clothes always look brighter when I use it, you can see it when I dont use it. I live in a apartment building with a shared laundry room. This gives me a sense of security that its killing bacteria or virus or anything that someone else may have that cause illnes from a contaminated washer.

I haven't noticed a big difference, but I do use Lysol sanitizer on all my families clothes. I do have smaller children in school age classes so I do wanna kill all the germs that I can so I do add this in each and every laundry load the smell is great because it's not overpowering. There is no perfume and I don't notice any extra smell

I'm allergic to fragrance based products so I can't use any fragrance in my laundry products. So I started noticing my clothes still sometimes had a little remaining body odor. Obviously the fragrance was masking that previously. The fragrance free Lysol sanitizer takes care of that and now my clothes have a clean fresh scent. Thank you Lysol!

I started using this sanitizer during Covid. My husband was working in the hospital then and I wanted to kill any germs that were lingering. Since then, I've been using it in all my laundry loads. It just refreshes it and any lingering smells disappear.

Ever since I discovered this product I have been quite satisfied with its performance. It seems to work well on mild irritants gathered on clothes and is useful on fabrics that cannot be bleached. I have sensitive skin so that means a lot. I have experienced, however, when another relative used the product in the wash that if you use more than is recommended it can cause "itching." Once again, I have sensitive skin and so I must take great care to not over apply any product that is going to come in contact with my skin no matter its form. I receive no compensation for this review - Thanks for reading.

We use this all the time and my DH is better at remembering to use this than I am. After reading up about it I found out we were using it wrong. So to anyone like me who didn't read the bottle, it goes in the fabric softener dispenser. I guess it's a good/not so good thing I'm allergic to fabric softener. I mean without a lab to test how can anyone say hey this works so good???

Back during the pandemic days I thought this idea was silly because the act of washing your clothes will sanitize them. But then I had some towels that stank even after washing them, THATS when it hit me the purpose of this solution. And yes, it worked pretty well getting some mildewy smells out. Convinced me enough to always keep a bottle on hand now.

That's a ridiculous amount of product to have to use in my machine for one load. Five capfuls is the equivalent of approximately 13.35 ounces of sanitizer. Too much to fit into the softener dispenser so I'm supposed to run to my machine to stop, open, pour in the remainder, and restart during the rinse cycle?

Bought this before reading the active ingredients (duh) and I used to teach a hazardous chemicals class! Read it before using it thankfully. "This product uses quaternary ammonium compounds as active ingredients. These chemicals, along with many other household disinfectants and cleaners, are extremely toxic and potentially deadly to pet birds if they are exposed to wet product, direct contact, or lingering residues/fumes." The ammonium ingredient is fatal to birds. Particles in the air or on your towels or anything a bird comes into contact with. It can make any small furry pet ill. I don't want to have it in my clothes, sheets, or towels. Really should have a skull and crossbones on the package. Frankly, I can't believe it is on the market. But your clothes will be sanitized for sure. Nothing living could survive the washing.
