MacGyver: The Complete Series: Seasons 1-5 (DVD), Lions Gate, Action & Adventure

I ordered the same set on eBay and it didn't work, but this set plays perfect! The new Macgyver has an amazing team aspect that the old Macgyver was missing. The new one is more action packed and fast paced. It also has more of a focus on relationships than the old Macgyver which I love. We get to know more characters than the old Macgyver because we see them every episode, and it makes us like Macgyver more.

Though I kind of thought the reboots of 20th-century series were rather pointless admissions that networks had run out of new ideas for TV series, I though MacGYVER Mark II was good for what it was, and I wanted to collect it as a series. So I bought the first four seasons individually. When the series ended I waited and waited for the fifth season to be issued. When it was, it turned out the only way to buy that final season was to repurchase the first four seasons in a complete series box set. So I waited, and waited, and waited and three years later, the price had come down to abopur five bucks more than a full-list copy of season 5 would have cost, so I bit the bullet and repurchased four sets I already own. So if you have interest in the show and haven't bought any of the previous individual seasons, I recommend it. If, like me, you're waiting for an individual season 5, I'd give up and buy this. It's certainly going to cost less than buying the Australian import.

It is close to the 1st MacGyver.

To start, I love this show and wanted to give it to somrone as a gift. It arrived damaged and walmart wouldnt even let me return it because of an error in the app. im not giving someone a messed up set (caused by flimsy dvd set packaging design). Waste of money, very dissatisfied.

This movie was for my son who is hearing impaired and there are no subtitles or captions available.
