Made by Me Paint Your Own White Ceramic Unicorn & Friends Figurine Set

This was a gift for my granddaughter's 4th birthday. She loved it before she even opened it! She got excited over the picture of the mermaid and unicorn. It was a mermaid themed birthday party. She has a 7 year old sister. It was great that it contained two pieces to paint. They spent time painting together. It was perfect for both ages. A win win for a great price!!

Cute set for the little painter in your life. The paint was a average quality. Remember that if you need a color of paint that is not included, mix the colors together to achieve it. Figurines were good quality. One was dropped a couple of times and did not break. I call that a winner.

This set comes with a unicorn with a rainbow that measures about 5.5" x4" and a mermaid that is 6" x 2". These Ceramic figures are super cute and the painting can be very detailed for the expert painter, or less so for those that are still learning how to control a brush. In addition to the 2 ceramic figures, it comes with 10 paint colors. Although the paint colors are bright, my daughter mixed her colors to make her own shades. This was a very fun craft for my 5 year old and we will be getting more. This would be an amazing gift for any child 4 on up. I know it recommends for 6 and older, but my daughter has loved painting figures for a long time. The only thing I did not see was it stated it included glitter and I did not see that, but to be honest, I would have removed that if I had seen it.

The made by me! paint your own Unicorn & Friends art is a fun and colorful ceramic set of 3D ceramic figures that includes paint, brushes and figures ready to decorate and create. Use the included colors to make a beautiful mermaid and a rainbow and unicorn. My child loved picking her favorite colors then displaying her work when finished. I only wish there were more than two figures per box as we wanted the fun to continue. Ceramic figures dried fairly quickly and clean up was easy.

My 5 year old daughter loves to paint. She loved painting these. The ceramic is very thick and holds the paint well. The designs are cute: mermaid and unicorn/rainbow. The paintbrush is small, considering the size of these ceramics. My daughter wanted to use a bigger bristle one that we already had at home. The paints were good and not dried out. They are very hard to open with your fingers. The best way to open the paints are with a flat-head screwdriver. Just put the tip between the plastic tabs and twist...they'll pop right open. Good and fun craft...we may glitter them. :)

This Made by Me Paint Your Own Unicorn and Friends figurine set is fun for anyone. Anyone who enjoys arts and crafts or time with a loved one that is. The set comes with two different figures, ten colors of paint and a brush. I used the box as a guide for what colors to apply to specific areas. The paints are high quality but maybe another strip of neutral colors and different skin tone options should have been included. I had to mix multiple colors to achieve some of the colors for the aforementioned opinions. And that wasted quiet a bit of paint, I never did come up with a skin tone that I liked, and there certainly should be two things of white for the big unicorn. I purchased an additional set of brushes for around $2 and some cheap paints that the price reflected, so I will be getting some higher quality additional paint before I finish my figurines. But thus far it has been an enjoyable little hobby. I think this set would make a nice gift for anyone and that includes yourself. You will not be disappointed with this set, so go ahead and purchase it.

These really are ceramic figurines that will be keepsakes for a lifetime. One figurine is a Unicorn and rainbow, the other is a mermaid sitting on a shell. I guess I really did not expect to see real ceramic figurines, I’m very impressed. Our grand daughter has delayed motor skills, and she loves to paint. The graphic cuts on the figurines are very defined and it was so easy for her to paint within the graphics. The paints that are included were really bright, and covered the ceramic with one coat. We did run out of red before she finished, but really the paint was more than enough for the figurines. One paint brush is included, but we actually used 5 brushes. I could not find what kind of paint this is, but it’s water soluble. Using a wet brush will water down the paints I think, so using more brushes worked better I think. The figurines are 3D, front, side, and back. My grand daughter painted each side, and she used a larger brush on the backs of the figurines. She signed and dated the bottoms, and we put the in a special place on her shelf.
