Works great. Easy to use. Not toxic
I was very excited to receive this product. I have a raised flower bed where I grow herbs for cooking. I have been having some issues with the herbs not thriving for some reason. I began using the spray two weeks ago and the herbs have become noticeably stronger. I definitely recommend this product.
I finally decided to do something about the insects that invade my garden every year. Maggie's vegetable spray has helped protect my plants against endless attacks. So far the leaves in my vegetables are free from holes and are thriving. My picture shows the bugs that were already waiting to attack as soon as I brought the plants home.
So far this Maggie's Farm Garden Essentials Insect & Disease Control seems to be working. I have only used it once on my hostas' and the bugs seem to be staying away. I also have a bumble bee plant that gets the gray powdery disease on the leaves. I used the spray on that as well. We will see if it helps with the diseased plant as it is too early to tell. The repellent is noted to work on so many insect species and diseases. The list on the labels is never ending. I can't speak for all of them, but from my one initial use on the hostas' it seems to be doing it's job nicely. I will continue to use on my intruded plants as recommended but I already see that it is working.
I live in a rural area and our bugs invincible. I am constantly fighting them off my plants. I have tried multiple expensive products and they hardly work for my needs. I have been using Maggie's for a couple weeks now and man does this work! You can apply it every 3 days but no more than 10 times per season. Do yourself a favor a buy this!!
I had some powdery mildew on my zucchini plant, which was affecting the growth of it. I sprayed the entire plant with this spray, including the areas where I didn't see any powdery mildew yet. With one application of this spray, I noticed a difference in my plant. The powdery mildew went away, and my plant was growing healthy again, which overall resulted in a bigger yield of zucchini. I love that this spray can also be used to control a variety of different diseases and insects.
Although it came quite quickly, I am not sure how effective it's been on my veggie s and herbs to keep away an ant invasion. I actually had my exterminator spray outside on my patio to get rid of pesky ants and to make sure they didn't come inside. It has a very strong smell; like lots of chemicals which I thought it wouldn't as I prefer natural ingredients. I also think it's overpriced for the amount.
The product seems to keep the bugs off of my potted vegetables and flowers and so far no signs of disease …. BUT the sprayers are terrible . I ordered two bottles and they both leak more on my hands than they put on the plants . Seems like a good product but terrible spray nozzles on the bottles is the reason for only 3 stars .
I ordered some blueberry bushes and one of them came with brown spots and edges all over the leaves. It looked like it had a disease or something. I plucked off a lot of the leaves so it didn't spread to the rest of the plant and sprayed this on the rest of the leaves. So the good news is, the plant is healthy and thriving. But the bad news is that it did not eradicate the brown leaves like I had hoped. So I'm not sure what to make of it. Maybe this spray doesn't help with whatever is going on with my blueberry bush.
I tried it on my house plants to help get rid of aphids and now my houseplants are dying and the aphids seem to have multiplied. Extremely disappointed.
