This dishwasher cleans dishes so well. You don't even have to rinse the plates before you put them in. It fits a lot of dishes; more than I thought. Runs quiet. I would recommend this to everyone. The only problem I had is that it doesn't fit under our kitchen cabinets. Make sure you measure your counter and cabinets before you buy. Mine fits on the counter, but takes up almost all of it. But I still love it!
I don't have space in my kitchen for a full size dishwasher. My Magic Chef Dishwasher sits on the counter close to the sink and works like a dream. It's very quiet to the point you forget it's there. My dishes come out so clean . I hate washing dishes by hand. Magic Chef is AWESOME. Love my Magic Chef Dishwasher.
I only got this about a week ago and have only used it once, but that was enough to let me know that it was a great buy for me since I live alone and don't use that many dishes. I was very impressed at how quiet it was and how clean the dishes, etc. were. It didn't fit under my counter but I have a utility cabinet and put it on top and roll it to the sink.
The dishwasher came to my house a week after I ordered it. The packaging was decent and the unit was easy to set it up with no problems. I did notice it did not come with the small basket to use the 3 in 1 packets and did not come with the hardware for permanent installation but that was not a big deal to me since I do not plan on using those features anyways (I have emailed Magic Chef to see if they will send them to me). When I first went to use it I was not using a cleaning agent (just Cascade liquid detergent) so my dishes came out very wet and left water marks where it had dried. I bought some Jet Dry and then the dishes came out nice and sparkly. One thing I recommend is read carefully that it says fits 6 STANDARD SIZE place settings. The plates and bowls I have are are too tall or thick for it to fit in the racks so I have to cram things in which doesn't leave enough room to fit very much into it. Overall I gave it 5 stars because am satisfied with how quick it shipped, it was easy it was to set up/use without any problems even though I wish I could fit a lot more of my dishes into it (guess I need to buy smaller plates or wash them more often).
We always have made it a habit to clear the dishes fairly well before loading to our standard sized dishwasher. We have usually hand washed larger pots and pans as well as oversized bowls I found this washer to be exactly what we needed for our space. I have only used on the quick setting so far and it works great in 45 minutes.
We are very pleased with our new dishwasher which replaced a Danby model that we had for several years and liked. This one is much larger in the interior, but not the exterior, and is quieter during operation. The items come out very clean. We would definitely purchase it again, but hopefully that will not be necessary for several years at least!
Overall I'm very happy with the dishwasher, definitely beats washing by hand. My only complaints are that it's not tall enough to fit my plates standing straight up (they have to lean on other things), and the nozzle they provide to keep on your spout isn't very good during non-dishwasher use. But still, beats the alternative.
Maybe I read it wrong but I only had 20" of counter space so I had to have to door face my sink. Not a huge problem as I love the way it washers. No dryer but not an issue for me. It is quiet compared to others so I would recommend it to anyone. If you hate dishes in the sink like I do you'll love this little gem!
Must use the scientific method to loading! Hard to get anything other than dishes, silverware and short glasses in it. Does a great job of washing. Just use the right quality liquid or tablet and rinse agent. It goes next to a wall, sticks out like a sore thumb on a sink island. I expect great duribility out of it!
A very large brick that wets dishes and takes valuable kitchen space. Easy to hook up, everything included. uses kitchen faucet, has built in pressure (househood water pressure moot) heats water to temperature (can use cold tap) make sure your dishes are CLEAN, WASHED AND SOIL FREE BEFORE PUTTING IN. if you have a single roguelike morsel that slips in, it will be evenly spread and dried fast to ALL dishes inside. This feature I enjoyed most. Hand washing the dishes after I put them in a moist chamber for 1 hour 50 minutes (longest run time) shortest run time is a rinse, does not open detergent door. Basically this unit is for a pretentios home that has a bar in basement. It is meant for cleaning bar glasses, wine glasses and nosh trays. REGULAR SIZED DINNER DISHES WILL NOT FIT. REGULAR SIZED CEREAL BOWLS WILL NOT FIT. Land of the Giants here in America I guess, we in good faith bought new square dinner plates so we could use this blessed white elephant and I ended up using it to hang my latex dish gloves from the door. BTW it died 1 year 1 month after purchase, has 1 year manufacturers warranty. hmmm. So if you disregard my warnings make sure to get a protection plan. No it is not a good choice for an RV either. you can literally hand wash every dish you own before this spits out your newly wet and soiled crockery. There is no way to stack or cram 6 place settings unless you buy the EXACT dishes pictured in diagram included by manufacturer. Magic Chef and he made a dishwasher for leprechauns. I should have known because the original order was messed up and they sent me a 6 bottle wine cooler instead of this. (now that was fun explaining to customer Service, but it worked out)I turned in on insurance after last wash was prematurely cancelled when it started smelling like melting plastic and display became sentient. I love my dishes hate this thing. Walmart honored the protection plan without flaw, I did not get full amount back and I have to pay to have this taken by Rubish Technicians. Recycling wont take. hint: READ internal size specs. and then DONT BUY THIS NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOUR EGO TELLS YOU THAT YOURS WILL BE DIFFERENT. for $200.00 save up and buy a full size or roll about. or rent to own. Thank You walmart and Allstate for not letting me carry this burden I purchased. I blame Magic Chef for selling junk not Walmart for carrying it. I approve this message, paid for by a person that works hard for my money.
