Magic Chef 2.6 cu ft Compact Electric Dryer, White

This dryer works wonders. It can dry the same size load as a washer the same size in about 45 mins on HOT. I was hesitant to buy because some said it didn't dry well and the price was unbelievable compared to other dryers from Walmart. I took a chance, followed all the dryer instructions and drying is perfectl. I've only had the dryer for 2 weeks but have washed about 8 loads and it has made my laundry life so much easier.

Got this amazing dryer, along with Magick Chef Compact Washer,delivered today to my apartment. It came through Fedex and boxes were pretty neat to my surprise. Easy set up. I was washing and drying my clothes in no time. Dries a “large” load in about 40 minutes although you will need to set it up to almost 140 minutes just to dry them with heat. Does the job pretty well. I am verry happy with this purchase.

I have only been using it for a couple weeks, but it dries my clothes quickly. I use the hot setting mostly, but you have the options for low medium or cool drying. It is recommended that you empty the lint trap after every use, but I only do it after every couple loads. It actually has room to dry more than what I can wash in my portable washer and that means It will dry faster since it's not overfilled. It was the best value for the money at the Walmart price. Others wanted much more for the same dryer. I found a 3 inch vent hose at Home Depot and I have a 3 inch dryer vent coming to make it even easier to use. I would definitely buy this dryer again.

Took awhile before this little jewel arrived but it works excellent. Easy to install, light enough one person could carry without breaking their backs, and sleek and compact saving much needed space in my laundry room. Even came with 1/2inch plywood and all the building materials if you want to make a shelf on the wall to sit it! Highly Recommend!!!

At first I thought I got ripped off but I was washing my clothes by hand and they were wetter going in than they are coming out of the washer. Dry times are about the same as a conventional dryer...if you load it according to its size. Paid $498 for this dryer coupled with an RCA washer. Don’t forget to buy some duct and vent the exhaust outside. (Should cost about $5) Worth the money.

I see reviews that this dryer doesn't dry thoroughly, however by following some simple guidelines it works great for me. First and most obvious, it can't effectively dry a typical full load efficiently.....half full works well. Second, if you have a small hand vacuum, keep it handy--stop the dryer about 30 minutes in to the cycle, remove the lint filters and clean them. Third, if you can set it up close to or in front of a window and happen to have a portable fan in the same room, this helps immensely...remember this machine air drys and if you're just recycling hot humid air in the room, naturally it will take much longer to work. These guidelines in mind, I have no regrets about this product.

This little dryer does an excellent job for my smaller loads. I live alone and generally do not have a lot of laundry at any given time. It meets my needs perfectly. I also have a full size gas dryer and will continue to use it for larger jobs, such as comforters and other heavy laundry drying. My only complaint is the design of the lint/exhaust filter. A more simplified design for ease of use would be preferred.

Love how you can see the clothes through, its lightweight, but the dryer settings I'm not too happy with because I prefer for the dryer to stop when clothes are dry not just setting a timer. The other 2.6 cu dryer was able to do that but did not have a window. Either way, I am very satisfied and will not be returning - would purchase again.

We bought an apartment building and this dryer is mounted in a one bedroom apartment. This is the third one we have had to buy because it is a piece of trash. It doesn't last even one year. But because of where it is and ease to replaced the unit with same unit . It is a piece of pure junk. Don't buy it.

While it was nice to have a dryer in my home for a temporary time, it ended up being a bigger hassle than it's worth. My clothes smelled burnt and then the second week I used it, the machine just stopped! I thought I blew a fuse, and that wasn't the case. The dryer just stopped. The instruction manual wasn't much help. Also, if you're considering getting an indoor venting kit, make sure you get a connector, because the vent piece that comes with it is oval. Indoor vent kits are round. For the less than 4 hours total I used this for, it did dry my clothes. The lint trap and the exhaust filter were cleaned after each load. Horrible idea to buy this product. Thank goodness I had no issue taking it back to my local Walmart store. Never again.
