She was sent to us by @comerounduk @supermoosetoys and we decided to try and wake her up after hundreds of years. We followed a lovely easy to follow guide with pictures, it was so fun following this and the little treats you get along the way. We had a moment where our fire alarm threatened to go off so make sure you do this in a well ventilated area. Once we had freed Jenny from her lamp repeating the process was super simple and the kids loved creating more smoke and revealing the items over and over. It is such a fun toy the lamp has been used for making afternoon tea and the kids have even used it to reveal other items whilst Jenny Genie looks on from her perch on the ring. This is going to be one of, if not THE toy this Christmas and for good reasons. We absolutely love it

She thoroughly enjoyed following all the steps of the lamp, but the fun didnt stop there. As soon as her plush appeared it was just another level. The toy is interactive and has a wish granting mode amongst other things like talking in its own language. Its a toy that can be used multiple times and even though used excessively it hasnt run out of steam yet! The plush was my daughters favourite part and its definitely the "it" toy. Would give more than 5 starts if I could!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The genius elves at Moose Toys have created another fantastic product which will enchant your little ones. There are quite a few steps to follow before the reveal but our youngest loved that each rewarded her with lights, sounds and the ring and gem so her attention was held throughout. Make sure to follow the instructions in the booklet exactly (she says it's not an instruction booklet, it's a spell book) to release the magic. My inner child was as wowed as she was with the smoke effects, and the reveal felt really magical. Both the lamp and the cute little furry creature have light and sound effects and you can make wishes and the light on the character's head shows if it's been granted (of all the things she could have wished for, she first chose fish and chips for dinner). It's great that you can do the reveal process over and over, and our little one has. If you're looking for a gift for a child's birthday or Christmas, this would definitely be well received.

Both were completely entranced and fascinated throughout. Quite incredible and the fun doesn't end when the Genie appears,it continues to bond and have fun with the children.

We already own few Magic mixies toys and my boy was so excited to receive the newest addition to the collection of Magic mixies. The Genie Lamp is absolutely fantastic and well worth the money. This toy has 60+ lights, sounds and reactions and the smoke is such a cool addition. You can re- use the Genie Lamp and making the genie appear again and again .The whole process of getting the Genie out from start to finish is so good and my boy and I both had so much fun . This toy comes with a booklet and instructions which were easy for my boy to follow. His face says it all when the genie popped out the lamp .My boy finds the genie so cute and funny when it talks in its own language. There is even option of the Genie to repeat what you say which is amazing and my boy's favourite. You can use the special ring to interact with the genie and even attach the genie on it so it can "float" . Also you can put the genie on the spout of the lamp so it looks like it's coming out of it . My boy has been loving this toy and takes the genie with him everywhere even for cuddles in bed . The smoke that comes from the Lamp will last few times and you can buy refill which is fabulous as you can keep re-using the Lamp . My boy has been playing with this toy all the time since we've received it and it's one of his favourite toys at the moment. The Genie Lamp would make an amazing Christmas present or Birthday gift.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The magic mixies lamp blew my mind, it kept my daughter and my older relatives engaged all evening. The spell, lights, sounds and 'smoke' bring the toy perfectly together and a cute little sidekick at the end of it is an added bonus! We throughly enjoyed casting our spell and playing with our new Mixie at the end of it. A few issues I noticed were the sound- the toy is very loud and at the end of a busy day the last thing I want for my overloaded sensitive brain is to hear the noises it makes and the songs it plays. Sometimes the toy got a bit stuck in the reveal and didn't pop up but that didn't seem to dampen my daughters excitement for it! The cute little added tricks that the mixie can do make extended play better and the fact the toy cam reveal most other toys is a pretty nice feature!! The 'smoke' didn't seem to have a smell and bellowed out alot which is great and adds to the effects! I like the fact you can refill the toy for future uses and encourage passing toys down instead of landfill! The only other downside is the amount of instructions! Although you can scan QR codes if your not the best or fluent reader.

My children and their friends thoroughly enjoyed following the steps of the lamp to reveal the ring, magic gem and finally the genie which emerged through a puff of magical mist. They loved the reveal of the genie and that they can play with the lamp and do the reveal with magical mist again and again. We might have a pink lamp and toy but it hasn't stopped my football mad 8 year old son enjoying it and playing with it by himself. My daughter loves the magic gem ring and the plush genie she can talk to, which grants wishes while talking in its own language. I was worried that the magical mist wouldn't last long but so far it's still going as strong as it did on it's first play. Its a toy that can be used multiple times and even though used excessively it hasn't run out of steam yet! We had a small issue trying to get the tasks in the right order, it definitely needs children who can read well or an adult to help them on their first go but was really easy to set up and go - no one needs wants to faff about on a birthday or at Christmas do they?! I would recommend it as a toy for your child or as a gift.

There was quite a lot of instructions to follow in order to awaken the genie from his sleep, so an adult definitely needs to help. But we all took it in turns to tip and rub the lamp. The most amazing part was when all the most appeared as if by magic from the lamp! We were all so excited to see this and haven't had a toy like this before! The genie inside is also interactive and will sing and grant wishes for you. This was a fab toy, reasonably priced too!

My only negative is the steps move on quickly - so I'd recommend reading all the instructions before you start, especially if helping little ones
