Magic Mixies Magic Genie Lamp with Interactive 8 inch Rainbow Magic Plush, Ages 5+

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an outstanding toy and you may look at the price and think it's not worth it but I can assure you it's worth every penny. My girls have been loving playing with it over and over following the cute steps and seeing if their Mixie will grant their wishes too. Loving all the sound effects and listening to the Mixie reply in its own little language

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter absolutely loved Magic Mixies Lamp and was amazing when steam came out, when it was knocking and that every time she opened the lid she found new thing. I must say i read instructions couple times before playing with it, but it was still hard to keep up with the toy and my nearly 7years old could not done it all by herself. We loved that it was possible to reset it and we could repeat it and second time she was able to remember most of what and when she needed to do. My daughter loved this lamp so much that she slept with it and wouldn't let go of it for couple days. My daughter believed that genie will grant a wish and was surprised she didn't get all of the chocolate in the world that she asked for, so i had to explain that it was pretend play only. This is definitely our favourite toy in the house!

She is 5 years old and managed to follow our instructions by herself and was delighted when the little mixie genie revealed themselves! It is fairly straightforward and we played with the lamp afterwards too. The manual explains how we can use it again which we plan to do!

We especially loved that it had quite a few steps this made the build of more exciting. I have a 7 ,4 and 2 year old and they all loved it equally. Also we loved that you could put it on free play mode after and still have plenty of smoke.

Although there were quite a few steps to complete to get the reveal to work it added to the suspense and made the reveal more magical. Our favourite thing about the toy is that the Lamp and the toy can be played with again and again. Would definetly recommend this toy!

She performed some magic steps to awaken the Genie Mixie and with the magic ring, she can play, chat or grant her wishes with the Genie! As she rubs the lamp, she was thrilled to see the magic mist appearing from the spout. With over 60 different lights, sounds and reactions, kids will love this toy.

From start to end this has been brilliant, we followed the instructions working through them as a story and talking about each stage and what we think may happen. Each stage proved to be very exciting and a great surprise. The effects of the magic lamp are truly magic and add to this toy. Then the big end reveal was a mouth open moment of pure wow. This is a 10/10 from us.

You just follow simple steps to get in to magical world. At every step your little one will have wow moment. This lamp has real mist and talking genie. Best toy ever. I love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this as a gift and after a quick video to show how it works we set about waking up the lamp. The girls aged8 and 6 followed the step by step instructions and were surprised by the effects that it created. They enjoyed doing the magic and interacting with the genie afterwards. Some step were a little confusing to follow but the lamp signalled by a sound that it wasn't correct. Would make a fab special present but a little on the expensive side just for the girls to purchase with their pocket money.
