They were exactly what i needed. was able to put 2 king comforters and 1 queen in one bag. i have a lot of EVERYTHING and was able to fit all of my sheets and pillow cases in one bag with no problem. (it was one of those big gallon totes from walmart full) I was also able to put 1 king comfort, 5 decorative pillows, matching towels, curtains, shower curtain, rugs and a throw in one bag. These are AMAZING! Ordered 2 more boxes. They helped me organize my storage closet beautifully. If you need extra storage and low on space, get these!
I own a king-size bed and I love thick plush comforters in the winter but come spring I fuss over where to store them and keep them clean. These bags let me put all of my king size bedding with the matching comforter in one big bag, vacuum it down to fit UNDER the bed. I will certainly consider purchasing more of these bags; they are so easy to use. I have used other bags but they were never large enough for the entire bed ensemble. I love having space-saving products so I can enjoy better, more neat storage. These are amazing, thick, durable, and have a great capacity.
Smells good and then th smell changes and keeps getting worse I know obviously use with venthilation but I did outside I. My deck and my whole house smelt of this stuff all afternoon.
The inner bags are what you would expect from a vacuum seal bag. The zipper seems to be holding well. I'm kind of disappointed in the outer bag. Once the four bags are filled and as flat as possible, only three of them fit in the zip close bag. The material seems cheap and I'm betting it's not going to last long if the bag has to be moved frequently. Definitely made for storage, not for hauling things to places like craft shows.
I choose this because it's supposed to be cube shape but no matter how I tried it wouldn't do it. I thought cube shaped bags would be easier to stack and the fact that it's extra large would be better. Not so much. I do recommend it if you just want to keep things dry and store it but it's not much for stacking.
I have a love hate relationship with these. The vacuum that came with it has ZERO power and did not work at all. I ended up using the shop vac and it worked perfectly. The XL bags can be set up Anna filled. The L bags must be filled lying down . Both sizes hold alot. They are acceptably thick material but I still feel it could easily rip with the right amount of pull or pinch. Closing the bags are a serious pain. The plastic slider is a joke. It does nothing but look like it's useful. It's a lie. My biggest complaint is the closure. It's tedious and starts hurting your fingers. I've had to redo the compression on two multiple times. There's either a hole I have not discovered or it's not properly sealing.
I have used the original Space Bags and these are a definite cheaper version. the plastic is so inexpensive that it's so loud and makes that crinkly sound every time you move it. and it's brittle. I tore the side of the bag open just putting my bag of comforters in the backseat. I didn't even bother to try to use the vacuum seal capability with it because I was afraid of breaking the plastic. and the tab that you're supposed to use to seal the plastic bag pops off every couple of centimeters. don't waste your money. buy the actual Space Bag
The zip closure is difficult to use, I ended up sealing the bags by hand. The one vent failed after vacuuming the air, I needed to use duct tape to keep the air from leaking.
Sadly these bags are no better than most others I have purchased in the past. I filled 2 of them with extra blankets and bedding and sucked the air out. The following morning they were both filled with air again. I checked both zipper closings and they were both closed. On the plus side, these are thick and very large and I will still use to store my extra bedding. Maybe I'm just the unlucky one and get the ones that leak. I assume they are returnable, so I would try them and if they leak I would return them.
Very disappointed with these vacuum storage bags. They don't stay sealed and inflate again very quickly. One of them even tore after just one use. Poor quality and not worth it.
