This MagicBag electric vacuum compression pump works amazingly well. It's small but very powerful, and it quickly removes air from vacuum storage bags without any hassle. I was surprised by how fast and efficient it is, and it's also quieter than I expected. It's lightweight, easy to store, and perfect for organizing clothes, bedding, and travel items. Definitely saves a ton of space and makes the process so much easier than manual pumps. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone using vacuum storage bags!

I bought this and the X-Large bags to help my son pack. One X-Large bag is the equivalent of a medium sized box. We were able to get two of them, shoes, and other items in his suitcase with the help of this vacuum. It's small but powerful.

The best tool to avoid paying extra for your luggage at the airport. Very easy to use and affordable.

I wouldn't use this for travel because it's smallish but still bulky. It would take up any space that using vacuum bags saved. A regular vacuum machine (at home, of course) will do the same job. Also, the MagicBag brand of bags are useless and reinflate within a few days. I've repacked, checked seals, and reduce the volume of packages, and haven't been able to make any of them stay sealed. I contacted the manufacturer of the bags and their responses were a runaround. If you're inclined to try them anyhow, save your receipts. I did not and regret it.

I used it once the next time I tried to use it it just would not turn on. the first time it worked great tho

The filled one medium size bag with clothes and the vacuum worked well removing the air and it was compact. The SECOND time I went to use it - it stopped half way through and it was dead. It was not expensive but I expected to have more than one sealed bag. It was a very poor product.

Purchased this item on a rush delivery as my daughter was leaving out of the Country in the am to study abroad and we couldn't locate ours at the house. I paid double the cost to have it delivered over night and it broke the 1st time we used it. We have standard electric panels at our residence in the US and it should've operated just fine. It decompressed 2 medium size bags (quite nicely I might add) and on the 3rd bag it wouldn't work. I even waited approximately 20 m inured between each use as I know how quickly these little units can over heat. What a waste of $ and a true inconvenience as we had to pay an additional $150 for an additional 3rd suitcase to fit the items that would've been compressed into 2.

What I got appeared to already be opened, but seemed unused. However, the pump just did not work at all and only got hot and emitted a really strange %26 unpleasant smell.

This thing is trash. Doesn't have much suction and gets really hot after a few minutes. Returning, did not do the job.
