Easy to use, and really helps with storage. We purchased them to pack away baby clothes as they grow out of them and these have been much more efficient than our previous method of putting everything in totes. With the abundance of clothes, I've been able to pack 1-2 size ranges of clothes per bag. The zipper took a second to master, but once you are able to really seal it up you're good to go!

I needed to send a bulky stuffed toy to my son in Texas, and I was able to compact it to a vary small space using this MagicBag. It was easy to use, easy to seal using the hose attachment on my vacuum, and can be reused at a later date. I will be buying more of these in different sizes.

The Magic Bag Instant Space are wonderful when you live in an apartment with limited closet space. I have the Medium Flats. They measure 17.75x23.6 inches. These bags protects against Water,Dirt,Oders, Insects and Mildew. They have an airtight one way valve to suck the air out and not let air in. The valve fits most vacuum hoses. The valve has Multi grooves to keep the vacuum from choking up when the hose latches on. You apply the vacuum hoses directly on to the valve cap with out removing the cap. These bags are made of multi layer of material so they are very strong The have an easy grip slider to close and open the bag. This medium bag can hold 8 to 10 sweaters. I have 26 skeins of yarn in my bag. And I store it under my bed and don't have to worry about The yarn getting dusty. When I'm ready for more yarn I open the bag and slide the slider and vacuum out the air. I am so glad I got these bags.

These bags seal tight and will hold a lot of various bulky items. These magic bags are thick and seem to be sturdy. I feel they will last a while. As you can see in my first picture, I have 3 blankets that I needed to store away, and I am beyond thrilled to mention that they all 3 fit into ONE of these medium bags. The price is amazing, and dare I say, cannot be beat. I have bought 2 more sets of these magic bags to store away some sweaters, more blankets, and some of our sheets. This brings large bulky items down to a compact rectangle. These bags save space and allow for extra storage. I would also suggest these could also be used to store away baby or children’s clothes to pass down to other generations. I would suggest these bags to anyone looking for extra room and storage for your bulky items that do not really have a home. These bags are wonderful for storing seasonal clothing, blankets, sheets, anything you know your not going to use for awhile. They are as easy as a ziplock bag. Simply put your items in and seal then use your vacuum hose ( you will have to have a vacuum with a hose) to remove all the air. Once compressed it will be about a quarter the size you started out. The best part is they are reusable so you can swap out your seasonal items and store those.

I got these bags primarily because we moved from the cool/cold mountains down to the hot south Texas coast. We unfortunately brought all our cold-weather bedding with us. We almost never use any of it now, but I hate to get rid of it and it’s still taking up a lot of extra room in our closets. In fact, the closet in our spare room is nearly full with blankets, flannel sheets and comforters. That’s where I went when these bags showed up. We tried out the package with 3 Medium Flat storage bags. Empty dimensions for these bags is 17.75” x 23.6”. The MagicBag company has a wide array of choices for bags though, pretty much a size for any need. These storage bags are pretty much dummy-proof, but instructions are printed on the outside of each bag just in case. I filled the first bag with 3 sets of queen-size flannel sheet sets and a single small blanket. There’s a fill line on the bag, so stay under that line. The second bag also had queen-size sheets in it, and the third bag had two large Mexican blankets and a smaller flannel blanket. They were all pretty stuffed; perhaps even over-stuffed. I needed one trick to use the “Easy Grip Slider” on the end of the bags to seal the double zippers. I had to press pretty hard on both sides. You’re trying to force some very durable seams together and it takes a bit of pressure. They sealed very well when closed. There’s a “Supersonic Valve”, a one-way valve, on each of the bags for sucking the air out. Despite it being hard plastic, the vacuum cleaner hose worked great on it. The plastic bag pulled down a LOT more than I expected. Now, 24 hours later, it doesn’t look like the air is leaking back into the bag at all. (When you look at my pictures, understand that I didn’t spend a great deal of time making sure everything was perfectly stacked in the bags, so they do look a little lumpy, but still stack great.) These work. In my application I was able to cut down volume by over 50%, and that helps a lot. I didn’t try to use these for any of our down comforters because of concerns about crushing the feathers, but I’d guess those would nearly disappear in these bags if you chose to use them for that. Pretty happy with these storage bags. They’re very easy to use and seem to be much more durable than others I’ve used in the past. Recommended.

My girlfriend put me on these and I must say my organization of storage is much better I can now fill my 27 gallon hyper tough totes like a professional. It keeps clothes that you will not wear as often safe in the garage double protection in the tote. Will by more if needed.

I used 3 Medium bags and filled one with a large pillow, the vacuum worked well and it has stayed sealed air tight, it was a little lumpy but the medium was for 8-10 sweaters and not for a large pillow, I would use these for travel and storage. Only gave four stars because you do have to apply a good amount of pressure on the slider to seal the zipper bag before vacuuming but once I found that out, no problem, hope this helps.

I've tried all 3 bags in the package I got, and none of them are airtight. I've tried the package's suggestion of trying to reseal the top of the bag and then vacuum again, but even if they initially appear to be fully sealed, when left for a bit the air returns. If you don't need your items vacuumed fully and it's ok for them to expand, this might work for you. I'm not sure that this level of seal is enough to prevent moths and carpet beetles from damaging wool sweaters.

Bought two boxes as they were on sale for almost 1/2 price. Well you get what you pay for. 2 of the 6 bags leaked. The material is very thin and when you vacuum the air out it is not completely compact even with pushing it. Would not buy again. *Medium does NOT fit 8 sweaters as advertised*
