Mainstays 1" Cordless Vinyl Light Filtering Mini Blinds, 1-Piece, White, 48" W x 64" L

I really like these cordless blinds-they're lightweight,look very clean once installed, and I love that they are cord free. Just a heads up, though: these are definitely ''light filtering'' and not blackouts, so they won't block out all the sun. Also, you can see through the small holes where the strings run through, so keep in mind if you need complete privacy.

Again, the price for 'performance' value is great! Easy, easy installation. Mount inside window frame or on outside. Whole blind unit slides out of packaging, untangled, ready to install, no assembly of any sort. Not heavy nor cumbersome to manipulate for installation. After install, it is so well balanced you simply just pull the bottom down, or effortlessly lift up with your hand. No messing with string measuring or tying at all. Blind blades will close to a tight seal against light or breezes.

These blinds serve the purpose, for a time. I say that because they most certainly will melt if installed in a window that receives constant sun all day. I bought these for the living room windows which do not receive constant sun. My remedy for the melted blinds on the dining room windows was to purchase some pretty window film that's sold here on walmart.com. These blinds are higher than they used to be only a few years ago. They shouldn't be as costly as they are when they only last 3-4 years in a sunny window. They warp under constant heat so not the best value but will serve an immediate purpose for most people. I recommend them for this reason but you will have to purchase again if used where it gets constant sun. Also, they simply raise up without a cord, but over time, this becomes more of a struggle. They stop lifting as they should over time. I have this problem with the one installed in the bathroom window. It no longer lifts as it should. It opens fine but doesn't lift as needed.

The blinds were easy to install and after the first tow, I was able to get all 10 up in 1 hour. I am disappointed that the blinds are not white but more of a light beige. The blinds are also extremely thin in comparison to the blinds they are replacing. Given that I found similar blinds that ARE fully white elsewhere and approx the same price, I would not rebuy these blinds.

A bit hard to figure out placement of brackets. I don't like the cordless feature, takes being right at it, then very carefully slide up. Feels like it will slip out of the brackets.

The material used to make this project is so thin it breaks all most instantly when it is bent to look out side with out lifting the shade and the stringless model only lasts a year or so and won’t stay up

These blinds are made of very cheap plastic that is easy to break. I suppose for the money they're fine, but expect to replace them much more often because of it. I was quite disappointed by the quality. I bought these years ago and they were much better quality then.

The product itself would have rated it higher however I ordered it online for delivery and when it came, it had been a returned product. The brackets were missing. The screws were missing. The instructions were missing and the rod that opens and closes. The mini blinds was missing. The only reason I kept it is because I don’t like to go to the store. That’s why I ordered it online for delivery. But the pickers you chose it gave me a defective product.

I ordered 2 mini blinds (39 x 64). I received one 39" blind and one 35" blind. I do not have any 35" windows. Really! someone can't see a four inch difference? "

you canceled my order because it was out of stock. Not just delay pickup, canceled. I was told you would be getting them in the store in a couple of days, but you cancelled my order and have a hold on my card for up to 10 days. Service has really gone down him.... fast
