These are the only blinds I put in my rental properties! As a single female, I do all installations myself. These are the easiest to install, AND the least expensive. I can do an entire house for less than $100. Amazing! Such a great value!! Thank you Walmart!
These blinds are easy to install, looks very stylish and does exactly as the product description! I would highly recommend if your thinking of adding blinds to your window. They raise and lower by simply pushing up or pulling down. These blinds darken the room very nicely making it a comfortable experience for bedroom guests. Very easy to install as well, took only 5 minutes to install 2 blinds on the inside of the windows.
I was pleased with the blinds. What I wasn't pleased about was that 3 out of the 4 blinds arrived completely broken. I know that Walmart is not responsible for the damage done by the freight carrier. but I was unable to get a refund, was shuffled around and then rudely told to call Walmart, she couldn't help me.
The slats broke after a month. I was looking out the slat to see out the window and the string cut the slat where it holds it. One slat broke so I taped it to the one above and then that slat broke. The blinds are very thin vinyl so they would have broke sooner or later. If you are not going to move the blinds and keep them stationary then they are a good price and deal. Also, I used them for a door window which worked well because they are very light. However trying to put them on, I read the instructions and somehow put them on backwards and had to unscrew them and screw it on the opposite of what they said in the picture.
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS JUNK!!! I cannot believe these have such high ratings. These are cheap and the mounting brackets aren't even the correct size and broke the at the top and almost poked my eye when trying to install and the side piece popped off and flew across the room. RETURNING! I'M SO UPSET I'VE NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM BEFORE! OFF YOU PURCHASE MAKE SURE YOU TEST THE BRACKETS TO THE TOP OF THE BLIND BEFORE SCREWING THEM IN THE WALL!!! NOTHING BUT A WASTE OF TIME AND FRUSTRATION!!!
after hanging the blinds, I noticed that one side sags and when I tried to take the blinds down to see the problem, It would not come off. Now I have blinds that sag, can't open so they have to stay closed. very disappointed.
I've been buying walmart blinds for many years, and these were the flimsiest ones yet. They must really be saving money on production, because they kept breaking off and then were difficult to pull down or up, probably due to the broken slats. I would only recommend these blinds IF they were going to be used in a room where you never pulled them up or down, or basically touched them at all.
They look great and work well. DO not touch the vinyl blinds. They are supper brittle and snap off right where the string goes through. I have never had material break that easily. It's as if they were dry rotted. If the wind blows on them and they touch the curtains, they will break. I must have received a bad batch.
These used to be a great, affordable go to for a window covering. Now they are so thin the slightest knock will break the slates. Ive raised or lowered and slates just fall out. Its mind blowing. There is no way they are vinyl. They feel like thin cardboard coated in something. I put these in 5 windows, only one is not falling apart and its bc it never worked to begin with so we dont lift it. Do not waste your money.
The suspension strings are way too light and the small Ferrule that secures the end of the string (on top) has already "Pulled through" the socket portion. These may be inexpensive, but there's a reason for the pricing. I'll move up a couple steps on the Quality scale in the future. Yep.... you get what you pay for. These were for a rental home and I suspect they won't survive 6 months. Move on %26 Move up
