Mainstays 13" Beechwood Turner Spatula for Flipping, Turning, and Serving

tired of the cheap plastic rubber type ones that say they're good for up to 400 degrees and cooking with, they melt and peel small bits. paying 1 to 4 dollars for garbage. I spent 4 on a wooden spoon, it's been 3 months and zero issues.. I'll be buying another, the only change I'd make, is the spatula be a bit wider and a bit thinner on the tip for getting under the food you're cooking and the spoob be a little longer and deeper. still a 5star item

To be perfectly honest, I wasn't expecting this wood spatula to be as nice as it is. I ordered it online for delivery, and was skeptical because of the very reasonable cost. The spatula is nicely made and very sturdy. It's too bulky on the edge to successfully flip a fried egg, but perfect for cooking most things in a pan or pot. Like all wood utensils, this should be hand washed and dried off with a dishtowel. Wood is porous, so it's not good to put it in the dishwasher or let it soak in the sink a long time.

I love it and will buy again! it's sturdy, long handle, works great and can be used as a mixing spoon as well as a spatula for the pan.... go buy one! or two...

We needed a spatula for our new non stick pan. This works great without applying too much pressure. I wouldve been better had it been flatter to flip things but overall we like it.

This wooden spatula is of great quality for its price. I wanted something wooden that was not bamboo so I could use it when I make butter. It works perfectly for my intended use. Cleans very well and is quite sturdy.

This is a durable and quality product. Wood helps to reduce cross contamination of foods, because it's easy to clean. I enjoy this product for that reason! It's pretty durable.

My first time using wooden utensils so I'm not for sure if you're only supposed to wash it going in one direction. But other than. The feel you get washing it against the grain, it's awesome.

It's a wooden spatula for a good price. What else do you need to know? I use it for cast iron skillets. If I had to, I'd smack someone with it. I don't know what else you use a wooden spatula for.....

I like that it's not made out of plastic because cooking with heated plastic is toxic. Wood is a great non toxic sustainable material. However, the design is flawed. The turner is too thick and not wide enough. It would also be better if the handle was angled rather than straight. I tried it with fried eggs and couldn't flip them with this turner.

Thick and NOT Easy to handle! Surprised To Recieve This BIG CLUNKY Wooden Spoon. It Does NOT Feel Right Just Holding It. The Size is NOT Compatible with Regular Sized Wooden Utensils That Are Smaller and Easier To Maneuver even If It resembles a spatula. I Do NOT want to use it like that. It Has A Slight Residual Smell Like Some Chemical Is On The Wood, Even AFTER washing it! NO WAY was I putting it in My Food To Cook. I Am HIGHLY Disappointed with Mainstay. This is NOT what I expect from this brand.
