Mainstays 17" x 29" Mildew Resistant Textured Loofah PVC Bathtub Mat, with Suction Cups, White

We have been buying these mats for years now. We absolutely LOVE the loofa that scrubs our feet as we move around in the shower. It doesn't slip, and if you wash it and take care of it, does not attract mold or ick. Great purchase for great price. Most loofa mats would be near 30 bucks.

I had to return this item, only because my shower floor is not a smooth, flat surface. The suction cups would not stick to it so I couldn't get the non-slip result I needed.

This is a 29" x 17" bath mat, comprised of 100% PVC plastic (no rubber). It is soft, springy and textured, approximately ½" thick, to resemble a loofah sponge, with suction cups on the back to enable adherence to a smooth tub or shower surface (however, the suction cups will not stick to a textured or uneven surface). It feels great on the feet and seems to help in removing dead skin. If the mat is placed over the drain, water will run through and it will catch hair that would normally clog the drain; instead of reaching the drain, the hair can be removed from the mat. The mat is easily cleaned, as well. It is machine washable in cold water on the gentle cycle, and laid flat to dry. The mat arrived rolled up into a cylinder, so before using, it was necessary to unroll it and drape it backward over the edge of the tub to flatten it out. There was an issue with the suction cups; because the mat was rolled up, some of the suction cups’ edges were bent and did not easily flatten out so that they would stick to the tub, and therefore, the mat would slip. In order to correct this, it is necessary to dampen the tub surface, flatten each suction cup with the fingers, and pressing down onto the mat until each suction cup sticks. It’s somewhat time consuming at first, but after a few days of being stepped on and heated by the warm water, the suction cups flatten out and adhere to the tub. I love the soft sponginess of the mat on my feet. Disregarding the issue of the bent suction cups, this is a fine product and good value for the money. Recommended.

Mainstays Textured Loofah Tub Mat was a wonderful addition to my tub. The loofah tub mat measures 29 inches x 17 inches and covers much of the bottom of my tub. The mat has many suction cups on the bottom of it to secure it to the tub, and offers a secure, stable surface to stand or sit on. I found it feels wonderful on my feet, without slipping, while I take a shower, also nice on the bottom while bathing. This loofah mat is completely machine washable, cold, gentle cycle, do not use bleach and air dry. Washes up amazingly well. I found it secures amazingly well to the bottom of the tub and does not slip when entering/exiting. I would recommend the Mainstays Textured Loofah Tub mat to anyone wanting to enjoy their showering/bathing to the fullest!

Mainstays Loofah Textured Bath Tub Shower Mat is the perfect combination of safety and comfort. The loofah texture on the mat is cleaning treat for my feet! The feet are probably the most used part of our body and get the least pampering! I love rubbing them over the loofah mat as I shower. The mat stays firmly in place with the secure suction cups, but can easily be pulled up and removed if needed. Mainstays Loofah Textured Bath Tub Shower Mat is a great product to help avoid slipping and give your feet the cleaning treat they deserve!

Bath mat is awesome. Loofah feels so good on feet while showering. Nice suction cups on the bottom, so it won't slide. I highly recommend this bath mat to everyone. I got it from a promotion and I love it. It's worth trying it, because it does feel amazing!

It works for having a non-slip surface but it gets pretty nasty with mildew. It’s impossible to get all the soap scum out of it and it yellows over time. Did not keep this product.

I prefer to opt out of the shower mat game. I find them to be gross dirt and hair traps. But, the idea of a loofah on my feet and that this mat is machine washable gave me pause. The material feels rubbery, not like any loofah I’ve experienced. And when I step on it, all I feel are the suction cups on the other side of the mat poking through and that does not feel good. Of course, it is an amazing hair trapper, which is actually not terrible if you are constantly having to fish hairballs out of your drain. You can just wash it once a week. So, while it is a bit off-putting having to stand on those pokey suction cups, you can use it to save your drain…and of course to keep you from a slip and fall.

This was suppose to be a reorder of a mat I purchased about six or so months ago but it was completely different as the loofah texture on top was way thinner than the last one and there were sixty small suction cups underneath ( the other had half of them) that protruded through the top so when your standing on them your feet hurt and it feels like your standing on rocks, the last mat you didn't notice any bumps from the suction cups. They want me to return it at a store or post office even though I said I don't have transportation to do so and I said I could put it in the mailbox for the carrier to pick up but they said I couldn't because it has to be scanned.
