Mainstays 18 in. Wall Mounted Unfinished Wood Hook Rack, 4 Pegs

It was exactly what I’m looking for on a project and fortunately came in two different lengths. I thought it was gonna be a lot more difficult to get as many feet as I needed for my project. The pegs do need to be glued in. They don’t stay on their own, which is no big deal but almost all of them fell out eventually and I just super glued them.

My husband needed a hat rack. Something simple yet useful and, this this rack is perfect. I'm not going to paint it, but I may in the future.

I purchased the Mainstays 18 in. Wall Mounted Unfinished Wood Hook Rack, 4, and I have to say I’m very disappointed with the quality. The pegs were extremely loose right out of the package—I had to use crazy glue just to get them to stay in place. Even then, they still didn’t feel secure, so I ended up adding nails for extra reinforcement because the provided screws were completely ineffective. After several tweaks and adjustments, I finally got it mounted, but it took far more work than it should have for something so simple. Considering the amount of fixing it requires, the price is just too high for what you get. If you’re willing to put in the extra effort, you might get it to work, but for me, the quality simply doesn’t justify the cost. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re handy and prepared to make modifications.

These look fine but 2 of the 3 I ordered the pegs are not glue in.

the pegs fall out. one of the pegs arrived broken too. its very very cheaply made. it does actually come with screws though.

These came as 2 pieces of wood with no pegs and unwrapped - sent them back to be replaced and received confirmation that they were received but have not seen a replacement Would give a real review if I actually had the product
