Mainstays 28 Qt Underbed Plastic Storage Bins with Lids, Clear, 4 Pack

I really like this box and that the plastic is very thick and nice. I do not know if it is 5 qt. but I do know that it is on the out side 14 inch long, 73/4 inch wide and 4 inch deep ( the inside is 12 inch long, 7 3/8 wide and 3 3/4 inch deep ). It has really nice black thick hands and a really tight seal ( I do not know if it is water tight I have not tried it yet, sorry. I hope this help make up your mind. Thank You.

Using this for my Operation Christmas Child boxes. Insert a bandana for color them fill. Box is study and open and closes easily. These containers can be used for numerous storage options. Latching lids make for a firm closure. It a good size for show storage.

These are a must buy if you're looking for small affordable storage containers to fit your sneakers, shoes or sandals. They are not the sturdiest of shoe containers but you get what you pay for. They definitely get the job done but just be cautious of how you stack your bins. Heaviest at the bottom lighter on top so you prevent cracking because these are easy to crack. But for $20 for 20 containers you can't go wrong!! Run don't walk

These Mainstays sweater boxes are great for everyday storage. Since they are clear, it is easy to identify what's inside. They fit a lot of items and keep everything organized and neat. You can use them in the closet, crafting area or anywhere. The lids snap on and off very easily, and although they are lightweight they seem very durable.

These storage boxes are very good. Made out of durable plastic. These storage boxes are very convenient. These boxes are big enough to fit a lot of stuff in, like clothes, towels, boots, shoes, or even anything that you want to put in them. The container fits small articles and knick knacks that you don't want scattered all over the house. The only problem I had was receiving one lid with two containers. I also liked that the bins are stackable.

I have to say that I do own a couple other underbed storage containers made by another brand, and while these are not as thick as the other brand is they are comparable in size and capacity. The bottoms and walls are rather thin and flimsy so I wouldn't put anything substantial in it like a really heavy blanket or such, but for storing shoes or boots under the bed these sure come in handy. My lovely child likes to play in my closet so I find my winter boots all over the house no matter what time of year it is, so now they are safely tucked under my bed and no tripping over winter boots in the summer when I can trip over work boots. I am also using them to keep my daughter's mega blocks from becoming a disaster area when she plays. Since the boxes are big enough that she can sort though them without scattering the blocks and they serve as a storage place when she finishes it kills two birds with on stone. The other thing I used these for was storing away summer gear so that it would be easier to find in the garage next year since it would all be in one place and since the container is clear I won't have to open every single one to find the on I need after the label disappears. For whatever reason, this size of Iris container cannot be shipped without getting damaged. Same whether you order from Walmart, Target or Amazon. Have purchased larger %26 smaller size bins without any issue. First ordered a four-pack, three were damaged when received. When the replacement order arrived, two of three were damaged.

The bins were the perfect size for what I needed, and I like clear for being able to see what's inside, but when it arrived, three of the lids were broken/cracked. I tried to exchange them in the store because the bins are pretty useless to me without lids, but they told me I had to return everything. So I unpacked and returned it all on another trip to the store. Had they been sturdier, I would have recommended them for their price etc. But it just ended up being a big hassle.
