We LOVE LOVE LOVE these fans! We have 3 in our home and bought one for our son's college apartment. They are compact but powerful. We appreciate the variety of speeds so we can adjust to the changing weather. We don't change "modes" often, but it is a wonderful option to have. The oscillation has a good range of motion, but I appreciate being able to turn it off, as well. The fan in our bedroom runs nonstop for gentle airflow and white noise. As such, it works wonderfully and lasts 1-2 years. The fans in other areas of our home are turned off and on often and are moved around. Somewhere in these processes, they develop a rattle. It isn't horrible, but it is not conducive to sleep.
This fan is great. It makes it feel cooler, has different settings and I can barely hear it. It's the second one I bought for another room. I have wall air conditioner, and it's noisy. So I just use this instead for nighttime. Very happy with the purchase.
I like the options for speed and rotations. I like the remote. This is the second of this model that I have purchased. For my home, it is great for helping reduce and control air conditioning costs.
I had some problems setting up the unit due to my arthritis. Once I completed setting up the unit, I used the remote to turn it on and it's simple to use and allows me to control the speed, mode, oscillation and time without having to get up to press the controls on the unit. The the room cools of with the blowing that the unit gives out. The remote and unit settings is simple to use.
It has a setting that makes it feel like a summer breeze. It's amazing. A friend of mine had one and I kept saying why does it feel like a natural breeze? Finally, I did research on it and son of a gun. Some fans have this setting. I love it
This is my review of the Pelonis 36in Tower Fan. It is a nice slim cylinder fan that blows a lot of air. It also oscillates back and forward to give you a nice breeze across the entire room. Of it you just want it to blow on you and not constantly blow in your face the oscillation is a nice feature. This fan also comes with three different setting types for when the fan is on and blowing. It has a normal setting that just let the fan blow like a normal fan. Then there is a natural and sleep settings that seems to change the force that the air blows and a little quieter also. The nicest feature of this fan, to me, is the remote control. You can operate the fan from across the room and not have to get up to change the settings. The remote seems to have a pretty good battery and range, because you can operate the fan and all its functions from anywhere in the room. I also like that it is a slim tower fan. You can sit it in a corner and it doesn't even look like a fan. I have the one that is black in color, also, that helps it blend in with the room. Seems to be a good fan, thus far. I cannot wait for the hotter days of summer to see how it operates. I would recommend this fan.
This is a terrific fan because its so tall it cools me down from top to bottom,, not like others fans where it only hits me on the legs or in the face when im watching tv or that they hit the side of the bed im laying on. Has a 7 hr timer, 3 different speeds, 3 different modes -normal, natural & sleep. What i like the best is that when on the natural mode it randomly cycles through different speeds so it feels more like a natural, balmy breeze on me. If you put it on sleep mode on high it stays on high for 30 minutes, medium for 30 minutes then low for the rest of the night. It also comes with a remote control. After putting the base on the tower it does sway cos the base is on the flimsy side but this fan does direct more cool air on me due to its size. There doesn't seem to be much difference between the low & medium setting on normal mode so im glad it has the natural mode.
This fan is absolutely amazing! My A/C was out classroom and it suffocatingly hot. After only 5 minutes of running the fan on high my classroom felt 20° cooler. The air output is surprisingly strong. And I absolutely LOVE the fact that it comes with a remote control too! Highly recommend!
Living in an apartment with a single wall unit for AC, in a very hot climate, cool air distribution doesn't take place that well so I got this fan to move some air into a bathroom. Works fine for that purpose. Doesn't take up any room. Air flow is nowhere near a typical floor fan with blades but, I don't need a wind storm. This works just fine.
Easy to assemble and install the pedestal style base. The drawback is the base is made of 2 pieces of thin plastic that is a bit flimsy so I am not sure how durable or sturdy it will be over time. Be careful when snapping the pieces together, could easily crack! Would have given 5 stars if the base was better quality. Plastic housing seems to be of average quality. The electronic controls are easy to use, push buttons for on/off, oscillating on/off, fan speed LO MED HI, timer, Mode for normal, natural, sleep. Red LED display on front of unit. Works well! Good power! Sleek, stylish design. Handy remote control included. Decent instructions and operation manual One year warranty. Made in China.
