The MainStays Tablecloth Napkin Set is so very beautiful. I love the solid, hedge green color, and the truffle, stringed edges. It has an amazing width and length. It feels very soft and smooth, and has a nice delicate weight. What I love best about this set is the way it brings the natural beauty and charm of my breakfast and dinner setting. Not only can I use them for a napkin setting, but as a placemat. They make a beautiful background setting underneath the dinner plate areas. Even my silverware looks more decorative with a shine. I also love to fold them in different arrangements to accommodate the theme of my table setting; and it pairs very well with my dinnerware. I just like to take a step back and look at the dinner setting because these napkins are gorgeous! I also love to use them as a centerpiece to plate my main dish courses or for the serving utensils. I just love how these napkins can be used in a variety of creative ways. I definitely love the MainStays Four-Piece Tablecloth Napkin Set. My dinner table looks amazing. The color is stunning, and it looks absolutely perfect! I love it!

I have jumped on the sustainable living train because not only is it better for the environment, but it is usually cheaper. In this case, it is cheaper to use reusable napkins over paper napkins or paper towels. In my opinion, paper napkins are way overpriced, but I won’t get on my soapbox about it. Although this is my first time using cloth napkins in the home, I think these are perfect. The sage green color is so pretty and earthy. The material of the napkins is pretty thin cotton, but I prefer a thin material over the typical thick cloth napkins at restaurants. These napkins are 18 inches by 18 inches which is a good size – not too big and not too small. I washed these on cold because I wasn’t sure about the color bleeding, but next time I might try to wash them on warm (although the care instructions say to wash on cold). I probably wouldn’t wash these on hot or sanitize because I think the material is to fragile. I dried these in the dryer and they did fine. I don’t think they shrunk in the wash, but I didn’t measure them afterward so I can’t say for sure. A great addition to my home!

Got these for Christmas dinner and they were great and loved the color. I washed them and some thread was coming off but nothing too bad. Definitely something you can’t wash every other day.

Soft natural fiber materials make this the best I've purchased in years. Quality for the price unbeatable. Nothing to dislike! The fringe is just the right length, easy to wash instructions and color as described.

These are pretty good cloth napkins for everyday use. What I like: -- Soft, neutral sage green color -- Feel of the napkins--they are soft, but sturdy, thick enough to be absorbent, and have a nice "ribbed canvas" kind of texture -- Perfect size to cover your lap, but small enough to manage easily for dabbing your mouth -- These are perfectly washable, as they're cotton. Just throw in the washer and you're done. -- Reusable and good for the Earth. Save on paper napkins, which saves trees. -- Makes dinner a little bit fancier!

I have used cloth napkins for many years and have tried all sorts of variety. I have tried every type of material you can think of and every size available. I think after all these efforts I have finally found the perfect combination in these Mainstays cloth napkins. First of all when I mentioned size I was acting like there are all kinds of different sizes but this 18" x 18" square napkin size is really a standard within an inch or two. It is for good reason too because it is just the right amount of napkin. Some restaurant style are bigger but to me they are not practical on a daily basis. I first started out buying polyester napkins but could never get used to that plastic feel. They just feel cheap and I have never found ones that were sufficiently absorbent. Napkins you use on a daily basis are used for a lot more than patting at your mouth to wipe crumbs. They are used to mop up spills at the table or on the floor for that matter. You really need to have an absorbent material. For me this ruled out the 100% polyester napkins. I tried different blends next and had varying success. I started to realize that the blends with more cotton were my favorites, which led me to finding higher and higher cotton content. Which as I am sure you have begun to predict leads me to these napkins we are reviewing here. I had steered far and clear of 100% cotton napkins because I fear the iron! Well, I don't know what it is about these but they do not get all wrinkly like I had feared. Even the polyester ones got some wrinkling but these really were not even any worse than that. For my situation where I am just trying to find an everyday answer to avoiding disposable napkins, these work perfectly. I will be buying several more sets!

This napkin set has a beautiful sage color, pretty good size and the fabric is nice for a casual lunch/dinner or even any event like a wedding or any other celebrations. You can easily play making a cute form with the napkins and they’re going to make any table look delicate and beautiful.

The fabric of these napkins is a nice-quality tight weave, and the size is more than ample for a dinner napkin. The napkins are soft enough to the touch, and absorbency is very good. They do everything that a good dinner napkin should do. Unfortunately, when I launder them (in accordance with instructions), they come out of the dryer seriously wrinkled. They're 100% cotton, so wrinkles have to be expected -- but these wrinkles are too much to just be smoothed out by hand. Steam ironing is absolutely required.

I don’t appreciate how all the picture of pictures are cropped to look like ithe edges are sewn solid. Only in the last picture can you make out the fringe/ fray. Strings everywhere. Avoid
