Mainstays 6" Full Mattress Tight Top Innerspring Mattress with Gel Foam

I was a little skeptical to order a boxed mattress and after doing some research, I decided on this Mainstays 8" Tight Top Innerspring Mattress. Wal Mart consistently delivers quality products under their Mainstays brand and that seemed to be a safer choice than going with an unknown off brand. The mattress arrived in a rectangular box and weighed just over 40 pounds. I opened the box and unwrapped a portion of the plastic that reveals a safe tool to open the remainder of the packaging. As the plastic is removed, the mattress begins to decompress and it is actually quite entertaining to watch. Within seconds, I had a full size mattress ready to install. I placed it in the bed frame and let it settle for a few days even though it felt great from the start. The mattress is solid! The quality is exceptional and the pillow top offers added comfort. I used this on a loft bed for my niece and she slept comfortably. I have since ordered a second mattress for my nephew and he loves it. The price is incredible for such a high quality mattress and delivery was so convenient. I highly recommend!

the mattress is very good! It comes in a vertical box, so all you have to do is just cut the plastic and it will roll out. Naturally it takes a bit of time to fully expand, but not a long wait. very good for the price.

This mattress is firm. I like it. It arrives in a small box rolled up legnthwise, so I got it in my apartment easy, I don't live on the first floor. When you open the box it opens up and gets thicker. I love it. Happy Customer. Reccomend if you like a firm mattress only.

Giving this a 5-star rating as this is a good mattress to have for kids, I slept on this with my toddler, he was sleeping like a rock and woke up happy while I had a bodyache the next day. Lol! So if you want to get this for your kids, go ahead! It's a good one to have.

This is a good mattress, especially for the price. I got this because my kids took over my queen mattress and I got sick of sleeping on the floor! Lol. My dog cuddles up with me and sleeps on it too. I've been sleeping a lot better. If you're looking for a simple sleeping solution that doesn't cost too much, this one is perfect.

needed a quick replacement for an awfully stained mattress. this one is rather firm compared to my previous one, which was much more springy and plush. make sure to pay attention to the height of the mattress you're ordering: 6 inches or 8 inches. all in all perfectly serviceable though nothing spectacular.

I needed a 6” mattress to fit for a trundle bed. But the mattress itself is not very comfortable. You can feel the springs and it feels very cheap. But it worked for what I needed it to. It wasn’t very expensive so I guess that’s what you pay for.

It’s really cheaply made. When I sleep on it, the springs crunch under me. I can feel the springs because there’s no padding. Just springs. For a few bucks more, I could’ve gotten a real mattress. I wish I’d known.

This mattress came rolled in a box and it says to let it "air up" for a few days, so we did, all you can feel are the springs its almost like there is no padding in it what so ever!!! Now im having to go buy a totally new mattress for my child and couldnt get help from anyone at walmart to even get this one replaced!

Aggravating joint pain. Even worse was the previous version of this product which caused a torn ligament in my hip. Can I sue? The mattress is too firm and pressure points develop causing joint paint in hips, shoulder, legs. Get a real mattress, not a jack in the box
