Mainstays 6 Shelf Non-Woven Hanging Closet Organizer Shelf Dividers, Arctic White

I know it was made for a closet but I am using it in our laundry room as a hanging organizer on our laundry cart. I really like the extra storage it provides. The inside measurement of each shelf is 11" x 11" and 6 7/8" tall, except the very bottom shelf which is 7 3/8" tall. The total length from the top of the bar it is hanging on to the very bottom of the shelves is 43 1/2" and it is 11 7/8" overall wide and deep. The straps are large strong velcro and the shelf bottoms are a stiff cardboard sewn in between the material. It says each shelf can take 5.8 pounds of weight. I wanted to put my iron on a shelf but I felt it weighed to much for it. I did try to put several pairs of men's tennis shoes, one pair per shelf and it held all of them just fine. The material does seem like it will collect dust as it is a scratchy feeling material but it does say it can be safely wiped clean with a damp cloth. I believe I am going to cut an 11"x11" piece of material like plastic or thin wood to put on the bottom to increase the weight I can put in a shelf for my iron. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to organize their closet it adds a ton of space at a convenient height and access.

I initially wanted to add set of shelves to my closet to store sweaters, pullovers, hats, and other foldables .However, I found this inexpensive hack that works great. Now, I can see all the things I forget about in drawers. Seeing them helps me access, coordinate, and remember to wear them more easily.

As you can see from my picture, I needed extra space to store my yarn (I'm a hoarder!) and this shelf is perfect! Folks, those are huge, jumbo size skeins of yarn that weigh a pound each. The shelf takes up very little space in my closet, holds a lot, and is strong and durable. It has easy grip loops that fit perfectly over closet rods. Now I need one or two more for my shoes!

I was able to fit a good amount of clothes in each of the 6 shelf compartments. It is very sturdy and it saves me so much space in my closet. I will be purchasing more for the other closets in my apartment. I used all 6 for clothes but you can definitely put other things such as sneakers, even snacks to organize a pantry. I love it! Highly recommend!

This 6 shelf organizer is made of very durable material. The top that wraps around your closet bar is reinforced and has some very strong Velcro to hold it up. My picture shows what I put on it for now but may add other things. I am very satisfied with this organizer and highly recommend!! I received this product free as part of the Spark Reviewer program.

This item was compact which would be easy to display on the sales floor and quite easy to merchandise in a store. The item is light weight to help with transportation costs and a customer would not have any difficulty handling or transport the item if purchased. To attach the item, just open the Velcro straps, one on each side and place over the closet rod and close the Velcro straps. A very easy and simple operation and nothing difficult whatsoever. The Velcro is strong and has a lot of holding power. Very nice. There is plenty of room on each shelf and the shelf is strong. And the entire unit is not to wide nor to long so the unit does not take up an enormous amount of closet space. Just the right amount. This is a very handy unit and especially nice for those items which a person doesn't really have a designated place nor does an individual want to spend a lot of time finding a place. The shelves are open so it is very easy to find whatever was placed on the shelf. I am impressed with this unit. Very practical.

Love the style and extra space it gives me in my closet. I had to fix it though because I dont have a bar to hang it on you need a bar in your closet. So I had to hang on a hanger in the closet and make secure. Great for those extra clothes I have I needed extra space for them. I just folded and put clothes in cubes. You can use for many things even extra shoes. It's pretty strong and holds alot. It has two very strong velcro fixtures at the top to hang it with. I would like to get another one for my big closet. It actually gave me alot more room and space than I had. With six empty spots to put my stuff in and keep me organized more this is perfect for me and my family. Each shelf holds over 5.8 pounds. To clean I use a damp cloth and it cleans very well.

The six shelf storage organizer helps to solve a lot of storage problems! It is sturdy and made well. I especially like the heavy duty Velcro type fasteners on the top. I have similar types of vertical storage that hang by hooks and they are very difficult to move. The fasteners on this particular one make it super easy to move with your belongings still in the compartments! This product would be great to store other items in as well (toys, office supplies, craft supplies, shoes etc)! I've been trying to incorporate the Konmari method of vertical folding of clothes to maximize storage space and that will definitely work within the compartments of this organizer! The other organizers that I have similar to this one do not have any support on the bottom of the compartments which makes the compartment sag down which takes away storage space in the compartment below it. I'm very happy that the bottoms of the compartments on this organizer are sturdy! I highly recommend this product and plan on getting another one!

My first thought upon inspection was good in theory, but how about in performance. The answer will become apparent with use and the passage of time. It appears that clothing items on clothes hangers will likely take less room than this organizer, but for other stored items it would do a good job, all depending on personal preference. In the beginning it was difficult for me to get it to hang straight, but with patience and determination, I finally succeeded. Also, it was necessary to fold and refold the clothing items to get them to fit the dimensions of the organizer shelves. The material and workmanship are very good.

Couldn't handle the weight of a one to two pairs of shoes for each cubby! Started to rip and fall apart after 2 months. Nothing crazy either just some vans and converses!!!
