Mainstays 62" Black Metal Angled Downbridge Floor Lamp with Linen Shade

Nice lamp that came well packaged and easy to put together. What threw me off is the white shade comes rolled up like a taquito. But, once unrolled and attached to the shade frame it looked really good. I originally purchased it for my living room but it looks and feels a lot shorter than it actually is because of the position of the shade and so it didn't fit right in the area that I needed it for. I did need lighting in a corner next to my chair in my bedroom where I read in the evening before bed and it is a perfect and cozy fit for that area. I use a LED light bulb that has a remote so I can turn the light up bright or dim if needed.

It's a nice solid lamp with some good weight to it. Assembly was easy. The shaft is kind of cheap looking when the light is on. I wish it had a pull chain because the light switch isn't easy to find and it's situated at the back on mine and I keep forgetting that. I don't like having to feel around for several seconds to find the switch. I like the lamp but I probably wouldn't buy it again.

It took me a little while to figure it out but I got it put together correctly. The lamp directs the light either for ambient lighting and for reading on the sofa. It looks nice and works great.V

A much less expensive option floor lamp model. Pretty but manuel on/off switch inconviently located on top of lamp. Also shade does does hang exactly level.

The pieces of pipe are supposed to simply screw together. This is impossible when the floor lamp arrived with every screw hole stripped. I was able to get all but one tightened using teflon tape. The last one I had to resort to J-B SteelStix epoxy putty. What an annoyance!
