Mainstays 8 in Pocket Spring Hybrid Mattress in a Box, Medium Firm, Full

Haven't had a new mattress in year years since I have my spinal cord surgery in April I needed to invest in a bed looked at other places and couldn't afford it so off to Walmart I've used mainstay products forever so I tried the bed excellent I slept like a baby the only hard thing was getting it up on the bed cuz it was just me but I got it done excellent excellent service everything excellent down to the driver excellent excellent

I think the quality of the product is great. I was surprised that a bed in a box still was able to have springs. I also was worried with it being 8” it would be a little too small but it's actually perfect for a bed frame or something of the sort, especially if you put a topper on it.

I am living temporarily in a location and have been sleeping on an air mattress. The air mattress was very comfortable but eventually began losing air. I needed a bed quickly and found this mattress and frame for a reasonable price. I was concerned about the comfort level but did not need nor want to invest in an expensive bed. So far I am pleased with this mattress and have to admit the comfort level was not expected. Glad I decided on this product. Can happily say it was a worthwhile purchase.

This mattress is amazing. I have a real bad back pain do to my spine have a curve so I need a firm mattress and honestly I was a little held back from buying a cheap one worried it would be too soft. But thankfully I was completely wrong this mattress takes my back pain away instantly. I 100% recommend this mattress.

The mattress takes about 2 weeks for the smell to leave. It is not too bad of an odor, but I didn't want to smell that all night. I aired out the mattress, using fans and Febreeze. The bed is super comfortable and fits into the bed that I bought on Amazon. Good find!

If I hadn't unpacked this mattress myself, I'd never believe it came out of a box! My partner and I had been worn down from restless sleep and had plenty of aches %26 pains from our previous bedding. Last night was night 2 with this new mattress and I feel completely different! This mattress is very supportive and comfortable for sleeping in any position. It was a fantastic choice!

I've not had this matress for long and its already developing a pretty pronounced body groove which is the exact issue I had with my last mattress. that can change as I havent been using a boxspring or bedframe with it. the matress is soft enough and perhaps not firm enlugh for my personal liking. i pretty guarantee this wont last 5 years but if you need a decent mattress quickly this is probably gonna work just fine.

I bought this mattress to replace my old mattress that had lost structure in multiple places, causing a lot of back and hip pain. I am conflicted while writing this review because the bed is very firm and holds up my plus-sized body; however, it is so firm that I am now experiencing pressure-related pain on my back and hips from the mattress not moving at all under my weight. I still think this is a great mattress for the price but I had to purchase a foam mattress topper and hopefully, it will make my sleeping experience better.

When I got the mattress, it seemed and looked fine on the outside. After the 3rd night of using it, I was able to confirm that it sloped downward on the end from half way down the matrress to the foot end. It felt like I was sloping downward from the waist to the feet. I do not know how else to describe it. It was uncomfortable and made my back hurt more and more. This is not a good mattress. It did not matter if sleeping on side or back or tummy.

I purchased the product on 9/07/2025 for our guest bedroom, I have heard really good things about this product so we were excited to have it for our guest bedroom. When we got the mattress home we did as instructed, unpacked it and let it sit for 24 hours before being used. As this is for a guest bed, the first time it was used was 12/20/2025 (well past the 24 hours) and our guests stated that something wasn't right. We figured it was maybe our bed frame or the box spring under so we checked all of that out but the box and frame were fine. The following weekend the same guests stayed and said something still wasn't right, so we took the mattress cover off and noticed there was an issues with mattress. The mattress was not level on the edge (there was a ‘drop off' or ‘ledge' near the outside of the mattress) so the mattress was dipping. I contacted Walmart Customer service that following week stating the issues, the person I spoke with wanted me to return the item. Not a very easy task considering it is a queen sized mattress, I was put on hold for about 5 minutes and I was told they submitted a ticket for a refund since I was out of the 90 day return window. I received an email stating that they can't refund or replace this item since the return date of 12/06 has passed. To say the least I am very disappointed with this product and walmart.
