We bought one of these 2 years ago to replace a cheaper mattress purchased through Amazon. This mattress is far more comfortable. Recently, our older daughter wanted to change to a day bed and needed a new mattress. Since it has held up well, we purchased another one.
No gas smell at all. Fully formed in about an hour. Slept on that night. No problem getting used to after switching from overly soft sinky King that was hard to get out of. I assume since it's a twin, the corners and over all shape is sharp and not saggy like some of those pictures. It's firm but gives a little when I lay on my side. I don't even think about getting comfortable when I get into bed, I just go to sleep. It does what it's supposed to do. I would say it doesn't feel hard. This is the best mattress I've ever owned, and would buy again. Great buy.
Finally replace my old pillow top coil mattress and with this Gel memory foal mattress. I'm impressed. The minute I laid down, I felt comfortable. It really conforms to your body, which is awesome. It may not seem like a true medium as in not "sinking" like a pillow top mattress but I do feel the molding to the unique contours of my body. Not super deep but Glad I bought it! It was a very noticeable difference from my old mattress.
I had purchased an off brand mattress from Wayfair, and from the first night we slept on the bed, we had issues, but we decided since this is a new hybrid mattress, we were going to give it a go. Because it was expensive, we said we’d give it one year. Well that year couldn’t come quick enough, still had sagging issues and come to find out it was losing its shape and it was very uneven at the foot of the bed, which also gave us sheet issues! So we decided to order a new mattress from Walmart and we couldn’t be happier! And they picked up our not so old, misshapen mattress and hauled it away, no extra charge! Thank you Walmart! And never buy an unknown mattress brand. Good sleep is essential, and your body deserves the best!
Loved everything about this purchase. Serta brand, good description, medium firmness that I wanted. Arrived in compact box. Easy to open and placed on our box spring. No odors. Very comfortable and ready to sleep on that night. We had a wonderful restful night.
Bed took the entire 72hrs to expand. It expanded in sections the last section was the middle fold then that expanded in sections. 😂
This is a little tall for my rv and it is definitely a soft versus medium firmness. The edge is very so so getting into it is challenging. It sleeps very comfortably and is so much better on my back and legs. Even though it has been unusually warm out, the kind where your AC struggles, this mattress has remained cooler.
The previous one was a hybrid Allswell and the springs went flat after a while leaving it a spongy hammock. This one is a full foam stack and is the medium it says it is, but I wonder how long it will hold up considering the soft edges vs. getting in and out of it, and the occasional knees. Time will tell I suppose. For now it's doing the job, but I feel the build is about the same as all the others. Oh yeah, if you're hot natured like I am you might want to find a cooling design. The top foam holds heat which turns me into a rotisserie at night unless I run the temps down to 70f in the room. It came in a box the size of a big AC and was wrapped in about 4000 miles of sticky wrap and a giant bag which will make a good drop cloth or emergency garden cover next fall/spring. The mattress puffed up pretty quick and filled the corners on the first day of sitting. I installed it on the second day.
I have had this mattress since 9/7/2025 and It was not cheap and I have been in distress ever since. Had it delivered, it was heavy. Unboxing was not the funnest but I'm a single 40-ish female but I got the job done. Full expandability took 2 months, it didn't become ‘rectangular' until last month. This bed is so firm that I wake up in tears, holding my lower back, the pain takes hours to go away if I didn't have my tens unit. It is WAYY too firm and it got to the point I didn't want to sleep in bed and slept many nights on the couch. I have no means to return it to the store and my Walmart return timeframe is in a couple days. This was NOT a cheap purchase by any means and it's frustrating. I took a shot in the dark because i couldn't actually feel it before purchase and I paid for delivery and for someone to pickup my old mattress (A ). I just purchased a 3 inch foam mattress topper in hopes that this will help. Everyone is different, everyone has their own preferences, it's just this mattress isn't for me and I'm going to have to work with it.
I bought one of these before, for my oldest son, in a queen size. NO complaints on that one, it decompressed all the way and it’s comfortable. BUT I bought a full size for my youngest son and it had a big dip in the middle after unboxing (it’s a dip in the middle, going horizontal from the way he’d sleep, not lengthwise). I read some reviews and the manufacturers comments and they suggested waiting a week to see if it “inflated” more…it did, SLIGHTLY. There’s still a dip in the middle. He’s 60 lbs so I don’t think he’ll care, but I, personally wouldn’t be able to sleep on it.
