Great item! I have 5 curtains hanging in this 1 rod; it holds the weight without falling. It’s easy to install, twist one end of the rod in one direction %26 the other end in the other direction. The rod even has arrows showing you what direction to turn it.

Easy to install and very sturdy. Have a good look to them. Was able to get a nice torgue on them, they will not fall. Had a fear of my cat swinging from the curtains and these falling. This wont happen because of the ability to get them really tight.

It’s deceptively nice! It looked nice online but I thought it would be cheap looking in person but it wasn’t at all. It looked like a high dollar curtain rod. Very impressed!

This tension rod is such a wonderful alternative to the traditional mounted curtain rod. I purchased the bronze colored one, which is an absolutely beautiful color. It is holding up very securely, without needing the included optional bracket. It is made of durable material, not plastic, but stainless steel, and pretty much effortless to use. The price is excellent, great value…it looks great.

Love this for hanging curtains inside the window. literally takes you a couple minutes. These are like the shower curtain rods, only you hang them inside your window. No Nails needed, although there is one support you can put in the middle but I didn't need it. I used it for unsulated , room darkening curtains, they weigh more than most curtains. Holding up well!

I need a tension rod. I ordered this one. I did not get a tension rod. There is no tension in this rod, or any of the rods for that matter. It's not that the rod was defective, they just didn't look up the meaning of the word tension. In order to call something or classify it with tension, it needs to have or be able to withstand a force that stretches or compresses it. This is an adjustable rod. There will be no tension anywhere in it. There are no springs. And to make matters worse when you expand this rod to the length that you need it, it doesn't stay there! This is a huge waste of money. Huge waste of money! If I had wanted a bar/pole, I would've gone to the garage and gotten a wooden pole/dowel and cut it to size. I needed to suspend the rod in the door frame for privacy curtains. Since there's no tension, the rod is on the floor. ROD DOES NOT USE TENSION!!!!!!

I used it outside and it constantly falls down due to slippage as it uses a twist instead of suspension method. It does not maintain the twisted position.

The rod will not extend at all. We looked at the instructions to he sure we were extending it correctly. I mean, please, it is an extension rod. It seems to locked or stuck at the shipping length. Should be able to unscrew the two rods to the desired length. Will not budge. Do not buy.

Won’t stay up for nothing in the world! After it fell for the third time I said forget it and will be buying one to nail down. Not worth the headache.
