Mainstays All Purpose 3-Piece Steel Non-stick Bakeware Sets with Baking Pan, Silicone Baking Mat, Chrome Cooling Rack

Wonderful baking set from Mainstays is perfect for a lot of different items. First of all, the whole set together weighs less than 2 lbs but each piece feels very durable. The baking pan is roughly 10"x 15"x 1 1/2". The silicone baking mat fits neatly inside the baking pan AND while using it, this eliminates the need for non stick sprays, a definite plus for me. Also using the mat makes for more even baking than I've found the case when using butter or non stick sprays. I was very pleased with how the sugar cookies I made turned out. Oh, forgot to mention but wash all the pieces in warm soapy water before use, but that's really a given. Now, on the the 3rd piece in this set, the cooling rack. Nice size, 1" smaller each way than the baking sheet so fits perfectly in it. It comes packaged with little feet on it which I kept on when I used it as a cooling rack for my cookies. When we decided to make some bacon one morning, we popped off the little feet, lined the baking sheet with foil and put the bacon on the rack and let the grease drip into the foil. Nice size, holds a fair amount of bacon, lose the rack and add the silicone baking sheet and you're ready for cookie baking. All three pieces are oven safe up to 450 deg. Multi purpose, easy to clean and store. I love it, get one for yourself...

This baking set is very nice! I honestly didn't know what to expect because of the price. But what I got is high quality baking supplies at a great Walmart price! You are supposed to wash the materials before use, and after every time you use them as well. The silicone baking sheet is probably my favorite of the three pieces. It can be placed in the oven and make cleaning easier when your baking is done. Also, the cooling rack is an excellent addition because you can cool your items after cooking which is always recommended, especially for cookies. All of the items can be cleaned with a mild soap, and should not be soaked. The items will hold up well over time I believe. I'm satisfied with the product and I would recommend them. You honestly cannot beat the price of these kitchen tools. The baking sheet is very good quality and stands up the heat of my convection oven as well. Mainstays is a great brand and I trust it for all of my household items. Great products, great price, as always! I will be buying another as a backup if I am baking a lot of baked good at once.

Great set, good quality, easy to use and clean. Anyone who spends even a little bit of time baking (cooking) can use this set! The cooling rack can also be used as a hot plate trivet (light items). The silicone baking sheet has multiple uses! Happy to add this set to my kitchen stash!

I got this as a reviewer for Wal-Mart. Using the silicone baking sheet definitely makes baking EASIER. The cooling rack I used for cookies and it worked well. I also used it in the rack in the oven to cook bacon, worked like a charm! The pan is iffy cheap but the two other pieces make it worth the whole set!

A nice convenient 3 piece baking ensemble. A perfect size baking pan 10 1/2 inches x 15 1/2 inches and 1.3 inches high.I first tried frozen fish fillets and French fries on parchment paper in a hot 425 degree oven , and the result was perfect , leaving the baking pan very clean. Next some chicken drumsticks ,shaken in a bag with bread crumbs and spices,using the silicone mat.Baking in ahot 375 degree oven , the chicken turned out quite perfectly , but ,the juices did escape the surface of the mat and found their way onto the baking pan.A little extra clean-up necessary when it comes to juicy foods.The Mainstays baking set includes a cooling rack custom sized for the baking pan which is a nice feature , and the silicone mat is sure to please when it comes to baking cookies and,other goodies.Overall the Mainstays multi-purpose 3 piece baking set is ready for a variety of recipes.

I received the Mainstays 3-Piece All Purpose Bakeware Set from Walmart to try and review as part of their Sparkreviewer program. The baking set arrived in good condition in its own plastic packaging inside a shipping box to minimize any damage. Included is a baking pan that measures approx. 10.5 x 15.5 x 1.3, a cooling rack and a silicone baking mat. Both the cooling rack, and the silicone mat are slightly smaller than the baking pan. The labeling states the cooling rack is made of chrome but there was no description of the baking pan material other than it was all purpose. Both the baking pan and the cooling rack are a shiny silver and feel solid. The silicone baking mat is labeled as safe up to a temperature of 450° but it does not say it is dishwasher safe. The baking pan is slightly smaller than the baking pans/cookie sheets I currently use but it is still large enough to bake at least a dozen average sized cookies on. I did like that the sides of this pan are just slightly higher than my other baking sheets. The silicone baking mat that comes with the set is nice and helps to prevent sticking and they tend to keep your baking pan cleaner longer. I tend to always bake using parchment paper sheets for this purpose and you can just toss them in the trash after. Per the packaging, cooking sprays and oils are not needed for the silicone mat but it is suggested that you lightly grease the baking pan before each use if you are not using the mat. My biggest frustration with baking pans is that some of them warp when they are used at a higher temperature. For testing purposes, I decided against cookies and went for fries and roasted veggies that are baked at a higher temperature. I baked a batch of fries at a temperature of 425° (in my experience, the witching temperature for when pans tend to warp, at least in my oven). I did not use the silicone mat and only sprayed ½ of the pan with cooking spray to see how they would come out. Surprisingly none of the fries stuck to the pan and everything baked evenly. More importantly, the pan did not warp. I then roasted some veggies using the silicone baking mat at 450° and got the same results. The only thing that I noticed was that the mat was slightly stained after use. This is not a deal breaker but it's worth mentioning. I've only used the pan and mat a few times so far, so I cannot say how they will hold up over time or at higher temperatures but so far, I am pleased with the baking set. I took one star off for the discoloration of the silicone mat after baking and the fact that it is not dishwasher safe. I will have to post an update after longer use but as of this writing I would recommend this baking set to others.

THE WORST. DO NOT BUY. Would have given 0 stars if possible. Washed before using and they immediately turned to rust. The pan was literally dripping rust. No amount of cleaning could save them. Cheap, terrible quality. Spend a few dollars more and get something you can actually use one time.

I am so disappointed on these baking pans, first time I used them and they both got rusted. I had purchased mainstays bakeware before and I was pleased by them they seem well made and they are affordable, but these are terrible they are not rust proof and now I ended with two rusty pans.

Beware. Pan will rust easily. I bought it new, took the wrapping off, placed in my sink with other dirty dishes to wash the new set later. Came back the next day and pan had rusted. Pics are after I tried to scrub rust off with steel wool. But something off better quality unless you plan to clean/wash/dry this pan immediately after use and keep water/moisture away from it.

I bought this to have a temporary baking sheet until I got a better one, figuring maybe I could use it for a month or so once a week. it lasted one use and is now eeking grey every time you touch it. the silicone feels super flimsy and I'm scared to even test it after how gross the pan is after one use.
