Nordic Ware Aluminum Oven Bacon Pan with Nesting Rack, 12.7" x 17.4" x 1.6"

Well, I had no idea that they had these bacon pans that had a screen over them that keeps things crispy when you cook them. Well, I love to bake things like bacon and jalapeño poppers and I've used this twice so far and it's perfect and cleaning it is even better it's so easy and I really really like this thing and it was worth every dynamite of it.

I got this for our Thanksgiving roast chicken. Of course it works for baking pork bellies as well! Easy to clean; it works as it's supposed to. Much better than the disposable foil pans!! Four stars for handles as it doesn't really have them - see picture in App.

Had no idea we'd use this as much as we do! Great for doing chicken wings, french fries, tator tots, and bacon. Cleans up nicely. They say not to soak the rack for a long time, but it's held up to 5-min. soaks just fine. Directions also say that putting the pan itself through the dishwasher might lead to discoloration. We typically hand-wash pans anyway, so no big deal here. Love this pan and might get another so we can do bigger batches of wings.

Good for chicken, chops, thin steaks and frozen fries, tots and snacks especially in a convection oven. Sturdy no stick rack with an enamel-like coating. Pan is light and a little thin, seems like it wouldn't hold up but it can take the heat and keeps its shape.

I think it's funny how many people are complaining about their ALUMINUM pan having discoloration after washing. %231 it plainly says on the packaging DO NOT PUT IN THE DISHWASHER or it will change the color/look. I thought most people knew not to put aluminum in water like that but I guess not. This pan is close to perfect for the price. With careful handing, handwashing and drying this pan will last for awhile. For those using metal utensils, putting it in the dishwasher and not drying it after you wash it .. it might as well be disposable. Read packaging. You work hard for your money, take care of items you buy with it.

I really like this pan with rack. I use it for bacon, fries and chicken. I love it, it cooks everything nicely, keeps food out of grease and it is easy to use, I have not used it in the dishwasher, because it suggests not to, but it hand washes easily! I would recommend this!

cooking bacon in the oven with this is amazing! catches all the grease and cooks the bacon evenly so theyre all the right amount of crunchy. I have cooked corn dogs on this also. Next, I will try to cook on this would be wings. Cleaning is simple and easy, and the size of this pan is aright. I cannot say it will fit a whole package of bacon in one go but it works for what it claims.

I am Nordic products fan for years. This baking pan is sturdy and versatile. Whether needing a deep pan for baking or roasting using the attached rack. The pan is aluminum. I line both pan and rack with Reynolds wrap for easy clean and to keep that nee look. I love cooking with this pan. It's part of my favorite cookware ensembles. Get one or two. you will not be disappointed!

This item is fantastic! It does say that it's hand wash only, but lets you know that if you put it in the dishwasher, it may change the finish, but won't ruin the item. I would pay more for it to be completely dishwasher friendly. I cook all of my bacon in the oven. It comes out crispier with less grease. This pan works wonderfully for that, for making potato wedges, even for letting steaks from the grill rest. I love it and highly recommend it. I would just love it even more if it placing it in the dishwasher wouldn't alter the finish.

It's well set up for just cooking bacon. The quality of the pan is quite flimsy...barely above a disposable aluminum pan, but the rack itself is quality and sturdy. Most definitely serves its purpose. Bit overpriced for that pan quality. A lot of money for just a quality rack.
