Mainstays Black Digital Alarm Clock with LED Backlight and Easy-to-Read LCD Display

Compact size for corner of my table clock has proven to be reliable in terms of timekeeping accuracy. I have not experienced any issues with it losing or gaining time, ensuring that I can rely on it to wake me up at the desired hour. In terms of design, the black color and sleek form of the clock make it an aesthetically pleasing addition to my bedside table. It has a compact size that doesn't take up much space, which is ideal for those with limited room.

Thought I'd ordered an electric clock but this only uses batteries. 3 AAA, not included. The batteries went in and was a tight fit but they do fit. I didn't buy it for an alarm clock, just for using while we sit on the breezeway. So far it's keeping good time and the temperature is a close match to the thermometer on the wall. Pretty straightforward on setting up. Instructions included and easy to follow. Seems like a fair price for a battery run clock. You wouldn't want to place it where it could get knocked around. It's thin plastic. Adequate for my needs.

For the price this is a great alarm clock. Easy to read without taking up much space. Wish it was a bit louder though. Was easy to program and change settings as needed. I like that backlight is an optional setting.

Small and compact and battery operated. Son took this to NYLT training for the Boy Scouts for the week this summer and it was the perfect size and volume to get him up in the mornings to start his day. It held up all week in the tent in over 100 degree weather with no issues.

Works as expected. Just follow instructions in the order they appear. If you want a bright backlight, buy an electric clock, not a battery clock. If you need to view clock from across the room, buy a larger clock.

Yes, the alarm DOES work well, but to set it you need to continuously push the snooze button to light up the face to change the time or alarm... otherwise, it's too dark and you can't see the numbers to do so.

As other reviews have mentioned, there's a limited viewing angle. This clock is best viewed from roughly 40 degrees above the clock. Putting it at eye level actually makes it harder to see, ditto if you put it higher than that. The automatic light doesn't seem to work; it's always on which is good if that's what you're looking for. It's dim which is perfect for night time; pushing the snooze will make it go full brightness which is frankly too bright. In summary, there's much room for improvement. At least it's cheap.

this is made very thin plastic. it is battery operated only so if it dies during the night then you will not have an alarm for you to wake up that following morning without knowlege of low battery. terrible item. dont waste your money even though it is already inexpensive. I DO NOT recommend!

This clock is a joke! The back-lite is so dim that you can't see the digits in a dark room even 1 foot from my bed!! Oh, it's great during daytime, but most alarms are needed early morning or at night.

Backlight too dim and can't read it unless you're looking down at it. Looking at it straight forward, nothing. Bought it at a store and retuned it next day. Recommend buying a better quality alarm clock.
