MainStays Basic Wall/Table Clock with Countdown Timer

A CLOCK IS A CLOCK, RIGHT? EXCEPT WHEN YOU ARE OLD. REAL OLD. THIS CLOCK HAS A FACE ON IT THAT HAS NUMBERS LARGE ENOUGH TO SEE CLEARLY FROM 15/20 FEET AWAY. I SIT CLOSER THAN THAT TO WATCH TV. PERFECT ADDITION TO MY TV STAND. AS ACCURATE AS YOU WILL EVER NEED. DEAD ON WITH THE TV CLOCK. RESETS ITSELF I THINK, I NEVER HAVE RESET IT AND IT IS PERFECT. THE COLOR MATCHES MY TV STAND ALSO. WHATS NOT TO LIKE.

This is a digital clock and is very clear and easy to read. You can hang it on the wall or sit it on a table. It measures about 5 X 7 inches and probably less than an inch thick the perfect sized clock for bathroom wall or is good on the bedside table. It doesn't light up so you can see at night, but hasn't bothered me. There is nothing drastic or amazing about it, but seems to be a good clock that is well made. It does have an alarm, and I really like that it has a built in thermometer. It seems that it would be so handy and will work in many different places also could be great for a baby's room to keep an eye on the temperature too. It runs on AAA batteries they included some to get me started.

I bought this clock for an older individual whom is always looking at the clock wall in our living quarters. Since she has really enjoyed not having to go find a clock and is using this on her night stand every day. Shipping was super fast, and I like that it runs on battery. The batteries have lasted a while we haven't had any issues. This has been such a blessing. I would highly encourage everyone to try this clock out it is perfect

This Digital Clock Plus inside temperature reading is right on the money! I love the big numbers since I don't have the best eye site. You will not have any problem seeing it.. The Digital clock also can be mounted to the wall or you can open the stand to sit it on a end table or where ever you want to put it. I added a couple Photos below.

using this for my newborn baby too see ehat time he wakes up, goes to the restroom, and his feeding. all so i can write it down. its easy to see and it has the temperature display, so i know if it gets too cood inside the house. i wish it had like an LED screen so it could light up and see mich better but you can still see it regardless.

The only clock in the my kitchen is the one on the stove so when the oven is on you lose the clock. This clock worked out great since i was able to mount it above the sink and out of the way. To many appliances on the counter already anyway. Since my kitchen is in the middle of the house as you pass through you can see the time now in a larger display versus the stoves which is much smaller. It has a kick stand on the back if you wish to put it on a table. The only two negatives are there is no back-lighting at night and every button you push beeps and there is no way to shut that off. If you were going to use this as an alarm clock in your bedroom you would have to have a sound sleeping partner or live alone as the button beeps are loud and might wake someone up if it was late at night. I really like that all the basic instructions are printed on the back of the clock in case you lose the instruction pamphlet and the battery door also clearly shows battery position and type. Set-up was easy and had no problems using the different functions. Nice that it has an indoor temperature display so when i come down in the morning to make coffee i don't have to walk into the living room to look at the thermostat to see the temp.

Its ok, I needed on that glows in the dark. But it does what it says

This is a handy little clock that has convenient features. The size of the clock is 7.15 L X .085 “ W X 4.90” H, so it can be carried from room to room and would be a great travel clock. It can stand on a table or hung on a wall. The features include a Countdown Timer, Alarm Clock with Snooze button, and an Indoor Temperature Indicator. It runs on three AAA batteries (the package says “not included” but I found them in the box). Directions are printed on the back of the clock and there is also a pamphlet inside the package. Please note: you will need a Phillips Head screwdriver to remove the clock from its cardboard backing (it's positioned in place by two plastic knobs). Remove the plastic overlay on the face of the clock so you can see the display properly. The directions say, “Hold the TIME SET button to enter the Settings Menu.” You must hold the button down until the display reads the hour, then the minutes, then C or F for the temperature indicator. You must + or – 12 hours to change AM or PM. There is a MODE button to adjust the Countdown Timer or Alarm. I like the clock; it's not decorative but very useful.

I like the size of the display. The clock itself is fine but it was shipped in the original packaging which is small and flimsy which offered little protection while it was in transit. I received the product with a broken screen. The seller should consider shipping it inside of a bigger box to protect the glass.

It DOES NOT light up…at all…! I can see the time well enough when I'm close to it but you wouldn't want it if it was placed on the other side of the room…say for a bedroom clock. Already exchanged one where the hands were not aligned properly, so I just kept this digital one….
