SHARP Digital Alarm Clock with AccuSet - Automatic Set, Black with White LED Display

This alarm clock is great. There is nothing much different than most other alarm clocks of its type except the size of the digital numbers. First it is a nice size, not too small but not bulky. It fits nicely in my bedroom without any rearranging of other things. It is easy to set up both the time and alarm time. My favorite part is the size and color of the numbers. My older alarm clocks all had small numbers that were red in color. My issue with that is I do not see well without contacts or glasses. So if I woke up in the night, looked at the clock, I wasn't able to see the numbers. The red was just a blur to me. These numbers are an LED white and a little larger and I can see the clock clearly without my glasses! I would definitely reccomend his clock to anyone, it's a great value and great product.

This is actually the second time I've purchased this alarm clock...only because I accidentally damaged the cord on my first one. I didn't hesitate to replace it because it works so well. The sound is loud and clear, perfect for waking me up in my bedroom without being harsh. The buttons are simple and easy to set, and the instructions were straightforward, making setup quick. One thing to note is that it adjusts easily for daylight savings time, which is a nice convenience. If you're looking for a no-fuss, dependable alarm clock, this is a great choice. Definitely recommend!

Love this clock because it is easy to use and does what it’s supposed to. I love the auto reset on the time because our electricity goes off frequently and now I don’t have to worry about resetting it.has a high low button for light display so it doesn’t light up our room like a landing field! No bells and whistles, just a great clock that works well.

Sharp alarm clock. Display dimmer. Electronically operated, means it needs plugged in. Automatically sets time. Switches between daylight savings time. Large easy to read display. It was easy to set up because it automatically set the time. Well it was easy to use. While the buttons are small they're not so small that you can't push them or that you have trouble pushing them. It's a nice little alarm clock. It's not super fancy but then it gets the job done which is all I care about. I do really like the big display. It's really nice when you wake up in the middle of the night you can glance over at the clock and I could read the numbers. I do have it on my nightstand so it's not really really far away this dirty plastic seems well made it's easy to wipe off with a wet rag. Overall I like the clock I think it's it's it was built for.

This is my second unit, I really like the display and the fact that you can change brightness. I use it in my entertainment center. Previous one I've had to repair. There was an added capacitor on the circuit board, which eventually loosened up and lifted the land had to repair the land.

I received the Sharp Digital AccuSet Automatic Set Alarm Clock and it worked right out of the box!! I didn't have to go through the hassle of figuring out how to set it up before I could set it down and begin to use it - of course, on this clock the adjustments aren't hard at all - all of the buttons for setting the time are a great size with labels and are right on top of the clock!! It's great as a second clock in the living room area of my RV - I normally use the microwave clock for time but there's always the occasion when I heated something up, sat in my recliner to watch TV, and looked over to see that I didn't clear the cook time off of the microwave so had to get up and clear that to be able to see what time it was! I am very excited that it adjusts itself for Daylight Savings Time because I normally go for 6 months either adding or subtracting an hours' time in my head because I didn't want the hassle of changing the time on the alarm clock. It will be great for when I travel to a new location in a different time zone so I can see how well it works. One of the best features about this Sharp digital alarm is the brightness. It is significantly easier to distinctly note the time during the night. Additionally, this feature can also be dimmed should user choose. The sound is loud enough to wake you. I found the options to set the time and alarm easy to use. The clocks numbers are bigger than the ones I've used in the past and I was surprised at despite the slight increase, it really makes a difference. The small size makes it an convenient fit on my dresser across the room without taking up space. The Sharp digital alarm clock also has a distinctive and classic look about it, which adds to the room in a very positive way.

Really had high hopes. Two problems- 1. The clock kept hood time for about 12 hours, then jumped ahead five minutes! There is no way to correct it since it is preset. This is not an atomic clock, so you are just stuck with a fast clock. It has been five minutes fast for two weeks now. 2. Even on dim setting, the clock is so bright we can't keep it in our bedroom. This clock would probably be great in a bathroom or some other place where sleeping doesn't happen.

This alarm clock is nice looking for a basic alarm clock. The auto set function did not work for me though. It's supposed to automatically set the time, as long as you set the switch to the correct time zone on the back. I could not get this to work. I even plugged it into different areas of the house to see if whatever signal it was supposed to receive was not working, still no luck. It also has a daylight savings time switch that didn't function. I ended up manually setting it myself. The second major flaw is the backup battery. It has a small watch style battery that is only capable of retaining the time in the event of a power failure. (which doesn't even make sense if it's supposed to set automatically). Most alarm clocks come with a 9volt Battey so that the alarm will still function in the event of a power outage. If the power is out when the alarm is supposed to go off then it will not go off. I would stick with a clock that uses a battery that will allow the alarm function to work in the event of an outage. If you want a clock just to simply function as a clock, this would be a good purchase. I would not choose this clock for my primary way of relying on waking up though.

Not sure how to review this since it didn't work. Maybe something happened during shipping, maybe it just came out bad, either way it never worked. Plugged it in and nothing, thought maybe it needed a minute to warm up, but no...it's dead. It has a good quality feel to it, has some nice adjustment buttons and switches, but no idea how it actually works. I can't really say much more because what else can I say?
