SHARP Digital Alarm Clock with AccuSet - Automatic Set, Black with White LED Display

This alarm clock is great. There is nothing much different than most other alarm clocks of its type except the size of the digital numbers. First it is a nice size, not too small but not bulky. It fits nicely in my bedroom without any rearranging of other things. It is easy to set up both the time and alarm time. My favorite part is the size and color of the numbers. My older alarm clocks all had small numbers that were red in color. My issue with that is I do not see well without contacts or glasses. So if I woke up in the night, looked at the clock, I wasn't able to see the numbers. The red was just a blur to me. These numbers are an LED white and a little larger and I can see the clock clearly without my glasses! I would definitely reccomend his clock to anyone, it's a great value and great product.

One of the best features about this Sharp digital alarm is the brightness. It is significantly easier to distinctly note the time during the night. Additionally, this feature can also be dimmed should user choose. The sound is loud enough to wake you. I found the options to set the time and alarm easy to use. The clocks numbers are bigger than the ones I've used in the past and I was surprised at despite the slight increase, it really makes a difference. The small size makes it an convenient fit on my dresser across the room without taking up space. The Sharp digital alarm clock also has a distinctive and classic look about it, which adds to the room in a very positive way.

This is a cute little alarm clock that is perfect in any room. It is basically a plug and play. Once you set the time zone and then set the daylight savings switch, just plug it in and you are good to go. It will set the time automatically once it is plugged in. I adjusted the brightness of the light on the clock by a switch. It does have a battery that will keep the correct time when the power goes out. Our power went out briefly so I am not sure if one is able to see the time with the power out for an extended period of time, but I don’t think you can. Oh, the battery is a C2032 that is already installed for you. This is a nice little upgrade from the old clock we used to use. When the time changes, just flip a switch. Move to a different time zone within the USA, just flip a switch. No need to reset the time when the power goes out with this clock. We don’t use the alarm feature or snooze button and have not tested it out to hear what it sounds like or to make sure the snooze button is functional. Overall, we really like this alarm clock.

This alarm clock is exactly what I wanted! My husband and I had recently gotten rid of our cable box that showed the time, and we were so accustomed to looking at it that we both felt like something was missing. As soon as we plugged the alarm clock in, the correct time showed! The only thing we had to do was set the time zone and daylight savings switch. The brightness can be dimmed, but I enjoy it at the highest setting because I can see it very clearly across the room (during the day and the night). This clock has a battery backup, so that is great to have in case of power outages- just keep in mind that the battery doesn't power the clock; it just stores your alarm settings and time. Overall, I absolutely recommend this alarm clock!

I like the size, adjustable brightness and ease of setting alarm. The only thing I would suggest, would be to make the alarm sound louder or adjustable to be louder.

This is a good simple basic alarm clock. The time display is silvery white. You can have it bright or dim it down a notch by sliding a button. The clock is black. When I plugged it in, the time automatically came up. Underneath is a time zone button you slide to pick your time zone and it adjusts the time. The time on my clock was 3 minutes off. But I adjusted the time manually. It has time adjustment buttons, an alarm set button, dimmer button, and snooze button. Setting the alarm is simple. When it goes off it is a fairly loud beeping sound. There is a battery in the bottom of the alarm clock just in case the power blips so the clock does not lose its time. Cons: No volume button Overall this is really good for an inexpensive, functional clock and alarm clock.

I like the alarm clock I got it because it’s easy to see the numbers in the dark. I took away a star because after setting it to the right time zone underneath the clock, it was still a minute behind the real time. The next day it became two minutes late. How do I know this? Because everything I own is smart and goes by GPS time. My iPhone, my android phone, my computer, laptop, Alexa all have the same exact time. I took away one star because it can’t keep time and they took away another star because it takes a watch battery that I don’t keep on hand at home. If it took AAA batteries then I would give the star back.I’m pretty sure this battery last longer than AAA’s but I don’t know when it was manufactured so it might be losing time because the battery is dying. Should have shipped the batteries separately in that case. Hope this helps!

This is your basic alarm clock. It tells the time, has the snooze feature, large enough digits and dimmer. The cord is plenty long enough. The time sets itself. Perfect size and not too bulky. It has a switch on the bottom to be able to set the time zones. Everything is perfect with this clock but for some reason it make a humming sound. An annoying humming sound all the time. And the humming is louder when set on a wooden piece of furniture. It even hums when you lift it and hold in your hand. I was thinking maybe it was not setting straight and maybe unbalance but nope. It just hums all the time. I'm not sure if the one I got is defective or what but I can't bear listening to the humming especially when trying to sleep.

This alarm clock is nice looking for a basic alarm clock. The auto set function did not work for me though. It's supposed to automatically set the time, as long as you set the switch to the correct time zone on the back. I could not get this to work. I even plugged it into different areas of the house to see if whatever signal it was supposed to receive was not working, still no luck. It also has a daylight savings time switch that didn't function. I ended up manually setting it myself. The second major flaw is the backup battery. It has a small watch style battery that is only capable of retaining the time in the event of a power failure. (which doesn't even make sense if it's supposed to set automatically). Most alarm clocks come with a 9volt Battey so that the alarm will still function in the event of a power outage. If the power is out when the alarm is supposed to go off then it will not go off. I would stick with a clock that uses a battery that will allow the alarm function to work in the event of an outage. If you want a clock just to simply function as a clock, this would be a good purchase. I would not choose this clock for my primary way of relying on waking up though.

Not sure how to review this since it didn't work. Maybe something happened during shipping, maybe it just came out bad, either way it never worked. Plugged it in and nothing, thought maybe it needed a minute to warm up, but no...it's dead. It has a good quality feel to it, has some nice adjustment buttons and switches, but no idea how it actually works. I can't really say much more because what else can I say?
