Mainstays black is lamp is a simple designed lamp able to brighten up any space. Its smooth sleek design helps it stay sturdy and is well built. It plugs into the wall outlet with ease. One click switch on and off button. There is a USB port on the side of the bottom to plug in any device such as a phone, tablet or laptop to charge them. It does take a little longer to charge but it is super convenient to have! Especially if you lost your charger head. The shade is white and durable. Not flimsy at all. I definitely recommend this lamp for your next purchase.

Cute and totally functional. The size and height of this lamp is perfect for a desk. I purchased two. My 14 yr old has one on his desk but doesn't use the USB. I have one on my desk and I use the usb to power my mini USB fan while I work. I don't recommend using the usb port to charge a phone as it blinks and flashes and doesn't charge fast enough. Overall I love this lamp and think it's a great value for what you get. Also, the stickers came off without any snags on both of my lamps.

Measures 19” tall. Lightbulb is not included. Light bulb capacity is 40 watts max or 10 amp LED so not for room illumination but fine for reading, highlighting an area, or extra light at the desk. USB - As for charging a phone, the USB port took the same amount of time as if I had my phone plugged into the charging square and an extension cord. My phone was charged overnight with no problems. The port works when the lamp is turned off. Love this! Décor - this lamp is like a chameleon. With its simple style and not obvious design, the lamps simply blends into any décor. At 19” tall, the lamp itself is tall enough to make a statement yet slim enough to not take over the entire nightstand, table, or counter. I really love the convenience of the power button located on the base of the lamp. No need to lean out of bed, reach under the lamp to feel for the switch or the chain to turn it off. Just move the toggle-type switch at the base. The size is perfect for lighting the kitchen counter, a vanity table, an entry table. The base allows for plenty of space on the nightstand or table. It is tall enough for the light to shine on whatever while sitting in an adjacent chair. You can sit in bed and read and the light hits perfectly at book level.

now for the price....this is probably one of the neatest and best buys ever!!!....the sleek style, and size and perfect lighting is awesome ....AND HOW IT CHARGES MY CELL PHONE AT THE SAME TIME WITH THE BUILT IN USB PORT .....I WAS JUST TRIPLE BLOWN AWAY....I GOT 4 LAMPS FOR EVERY ROOM IN MY NEW HOME....AND I TELL YOU ....YOU WILL NOT GO WRONG WITH THIS PURCHASE ....I FOUND MY LAMP GOING FORWARD ....JUST BLENDS SO WELL FOR ALL MY LIGHTING NEEDS!!!

If you are into simple and minimalistic decor, this is the perfect lamp for you! I ordered two and placed one on each nightstand. I removed all stickers, to make the lamps look more expensive and installed smart bulbs for different moods. Simple, inexpensive, and great lamps!

Mainstays black USB lamp is a great durable lamp. It plugs into the outlet in the wall with ease. It lights up with one on and off switch. The sleek black design is simple and nice. The white lamp shade is durable and not flimsy. There is one USB port on the side of the the bottom of the lamp. You can use it to charge a phone, tablet or laptop. It does take a little longer to charge but it is super convenient. I definitely recommend this product for your next purchase!

I was able to pull out of box, put together add a bulb. Worked just fine. I will buy one more for a matching set.

We ordered two of these lamps for use on our nightstands and were disappointed with them. They have a 1A USB port, not 2A as was advertised (at least at the time of our order), and one of two lamps must have had a bad connection because it wouldn't power the light bulb. We returned both, having been assured by Walmart that the replacements would have 2A USB ports. Of course, they did not. But both lights work. There's nothing impressive about them, but they're inexpensive and they get the job done - as long as you don't have a defective one.

ITEM NOT AS DESCRIBED!! Buyer beware, I ordered 2 these lamps and got a smaller lamp (16”) NOT 19” as description says. Returned and ordered again under different seller and still got wrong lamps! Apparently they all come from same shipper who doesn’t own a tape measure or just may not care that’s it’s wrong item and ships anyways. Ridiculous either way.
