Mainstays Double Burner, 1800 W, Black Electric Cooktop, 1 Each, Assembled Product

I set mine on top of my microwave when not in use and the cord is still Long enough to have it plugged in. Its easy to clean and love the big knobs. Inly disadvantage is that the dial temp marks disappeared when I cleaned my burner but other than that it heats up super fast and would recommend buying.

I used to buy the Farberware version of this item. Mainstays really matches it in almost every way. the only drawback is the knobs seem a tiny bit delicate. this was an issue with the farberware after a lot of use (three to four times a week for a couple years) where the knobs would crack or break and the main stays sort of feel the same. the larger burner gets hot enough to fry oil well. will purchase again when this one gets worn out.

Great cooktop! Our gas stove died unexpectedly, and this cooktop saved us, since the new stove we wanted is on back order. Love the dual burners. I have not used pots larger than a 5 quart capacity. Very pleased with Mainstays for this purchase. Highly recommend!

Very useful. Our stove gave out and the one we ordered was in back order for a month. Well this cooktop helped us all that month. Sure it takes a little while to get up to temp but we sure were able to cook full meals for the whole month without problem.

This thing is great, I am currently staying in a hotel that doesn't provide a kitchen and this dual burner is great so I can prepare some keto dishes while I am working away from home. Totally recommended if you will be camping, staying at a hotel, or just in the yard.

It seems to be heavy duty . Was heavier than I expected. Takes a few minutes for the water to boil . I put the lid on it and that helps . But when it gets hot it is great to cook on. I like the burners because easier to clean than the ones with the coils . So far its ok.

As in any appliance, you have to figure a few things out as you use it. Since you always wipe down your counter anyway after you cook, I figured this would be easier than having to remove by burner grates to wipe down my entire stove top every time I used one burner. Having to ease around each of the burners, careful not to hit the "sparker" element. (Yes, I know, that's not what it's called, but you know what I mean.) Well, I was right. I kept the cutout from my counter when my sink was installed. It sits perfectly on top of my stove where I use my portable double burner. Right under my stove hood. When I'm done and it's cooled down, I simply place it back inside my stove where I store it. Wipe down the smooth cutout as I wipe down the rest of my counter and I'm done. I cook for two. Since I only use my oven twice a year - Thanksgiving and Christmas turkeys. The double burner for pots and frying pans, main dishes go in my 'large' toaster oven. I would definitely recommend this product.

Easy to use because the whole burner doesn't work so no since in even trying to use it. I like the concept and the portability but it's not useful. Takes way too long to cook and like i said big burner won't heat up right just in the middle. The little burner rakes 20 mins to even heat up to boiling. Wastes tume and money.

The burners worked sufficiently the very first time I used it, but they didnt get hot enough to boil water rapidly. The second time I used it the left and largest burner did not work and the smaller right burner did not get hot enough to boil water. The right burner also stopped heating and then started again several times. I do not recommend.

I had one of these before, but the brand wasn't main stay. I used it every day for two years before it finally wore out This one I've had for about three months and haven't used it very much and the coding on the burner is already wearing real bad I'm not happy at all with it.
