Mainstays Elastic Bungee Clothesline, with Integrated Clothes Pins & Non-Slip Spacers, 50ft.

I bought this to tie a birthday sign to 2 trees in my front yard. I bought it because it was cheaper than rope and I'm glad I did. It has some stretch to it which made it a lot easier to tie than rope. I bought 4 packs but I ended up only needing 2 packs. I'm keeping them though, I'm sure they'll come in handy in the future.

Just enough rope for a clothesline, does not fray! Just to keep everything in place, knot it a few times. But works as it should.

I needed strong rope to secure our self-packed load for our 1500 mile move. This rope held strong, did not stretch, and yet was easy to untie when unloading.

I'm using this for a coiled basket craft, so my review is probably wildly different than folks using it for a rope... I think the difference the polyster cord makes is its a bit more slippery on the surface, as I wrap yarn around it while coiling. Cotton cord probably is still better for this craft, since it would make your wraps stay in place due to greater friction. Although, this does mean its easy to slip the wraps snugly back down the coil.

Mainstays Braided Polyester Outdoor Clothesline is okay for what I had to use it for. I did not use it for a clothes line. The material is soft and seems to stretch so that may not be good for a clothes line unless you want to tighten it up from time-to-time. If you want to use this to tie up a box or to hold something in place that does not need to be used to hand anything heavy than this will be perfect.

Durable but stretchy. Not strong enough to hang washed heavy blankets or comforters but good for lightweight blankets.

the description is miss leading it says comes with integrated cloths pins. it does not its just the rope. the rope is good. but take out the comes with cloths pins

I ordered 5 clothesline ropes that cost $12.10 and 4 oil filters for $17.92 cribside pichup total with tax $32.50. but they didn't have the clotheslines in stock and sent me a notice, so i went back on line and found the clotheslines at a different Walmart store. so i ordered the lines from the other store. the other store charged me an additional $6.99 for curbside pickup. when i got to the store i went inside to pickup my order and was told i had to go outside at curbside pickup even though they had a pickup booth inside the store. so the items i bought cost me $39.97 instead of what it was supposed to cost me to pick the items from the same store which should have been $32.35. all because they would not let me pick up the the clothesline in the store, they charged me an extra $7.62! well last time i order anything with curbside pickup. i was going to order everything from Amazom one day shipping, i should have and will go back to order from Amazom.

First: This is only 47 feet long. But, the second issue is the worst of the two. This has an elasticity about it. I should have realized because it states 'bungy'. But, I didn't. I pulled this as taut as possible as I hung it. It hung fine. I put a piece of 6 mil sheet plastic measuring 2' x 8', using 6 wooden clothes pins. About an hour later, I noticed the entire line drooped down by about 8". I then realized that this clothesline is basically worthless. For what I hung on it, at most, weighs one half pound. I logically imagined that if I hung the weight of wet laundry on it, it would be on the ground.

I expected a basic, reliable rope, but this one stretches out far too much under any real weight. Even with just a few wet towels hanging, the line sagged nearly to the ground. Spend a little more on a thicker cord.
