Mainstays Farmhouse Oversized Floral Teal Multicolor Indoor Accent Rug, 2 ft 6 in x 3 ft 10 in

I’m amazed. I ordered an expensive area rug but it wouldn’t arrive for weeks. So, in the meantime I ordered this because it was so inexpensive and could just keep scratches off the floor until the other one is delivered. Well, this is way way better than I expected for a very affordable area rug. It blends all the colors in my room. The plushness is better than more expensive rugs I own. I even ordered a bigger one! I cancelled the expensive one, saved hundreds or even over $1,000! I love it!

I love these rugs. Nice muted colors, did not smell bad coming right out the plastic bag. I adopt senior dogs, and sometimes my floors are too slippery for them, so use lots of throw rugs. I first ordered one to check out the quality, and quickly ordered two more. They give my older home's kitchen some much needed color. The quality seems good so far. I have already had to wash one, it fit my top loader fine. Instructions are to wash on cold, and can dry on low, but I dry for 10 minutes, then hang to dry, so the dryer heat doesn't destroy the non slip backing. Just something I personally always do, instructions say line or tumble dry on low. Came out of the dryer after 10 minutes looking like new. Definitely recommend!

I wish I had known about this company sooner! I just purchased a different rug for more and the piling is way shorter and stiffer, and it took forever for the rug to uncurl and not have a scent. This one, however, was just a few minutes to uncurl and barely any scent whatsoever. The instructions recommended throwing it in the dryer to "fluff" it up some, but it really didn't need that. I vacuumed it on my low speed setting and it fluffed up nicely. My daughter chose this for her room, at the foot of the bed. The colors are really pretty and an attractive floral design. The piling is lush and thick, it's really luxurious to walk across. She had a play date today and the girls sat on the rug crafting together. I like that the Maples Rugs company is family owned and operated, as well as constructed and assembled in the USA. Just an added perk to the great qualities already listed above. Would recommend and will also keep them in mind for future rug purchases for our home.

DISCLAIMER: Reviewed by a mutt owner who's adorably dumb mutt likes to do olympic speed zoomies. He's about 50lbs or so of pure musclely puppy power. The rug has a beautiful color and pattern. low size pile, like an indoor outdoor rug but snags with the "k9 zoomies" ,bones and toys. I would NOT recommend this rug for k9 zoomie enthusiasts as the low size pile will come undone and become a long (really long) and sporadic "shag rug" with the undone stitching. This has casused me to trip and almost fall. So, after cutting the strings, it's a sporadic "bald rug". Not quite the look i was intending. If you haven't any indoor house critters: THIS IS THE RUG FOR YOU!

Pattern and colors are great however there are two very noticeable snags or pulls in the carpet loops. I noticed the first snag/pull before removing the plastic wrap. The second snag/pull I saw was after I unrolled the whole rug and laid it flat. I’m trying to decide whether or not to keep it. In addition to the two snags/pulls, the rug smelled of cigarette smoke. I’m also waiting to see if that fades after the rug has aired out.

I love the colors in this rug. It’s described as “teal” but is definitely more of a denim blue, which is perfect for me. The problem is that when I unrolled it, it already had a snag. It was located in the end that was on the inside of the roll so there’s no way it was not snagged at the factory. I’m surprised to discover, the larger rugs have a larger print.

It is fair for the price. I live the colors. Texture is not bad. Only problem. Do not vacuum with regular vacuum cleaner. Even on the hugest carped setting it start ripping strands form the carpet. Only vacuum to use is upholstery cleaner on your vacuum or like myself. Thank for I kept my light weight dirt devil. A regular vacuum will eat it.

The loops in this rug are weak. Small things snagged the loops and led to strings of the carpet pulling out when vacuuming. I would not purchase again for this reason.

This rug is nothing like the quality of the last rug I purchased at Walmart. You cannot even vacuum it without the strands being sucked into the vacuum. Never had this issue before 😤

I love the color and feel of this carpet but it snags and unravels so easily! It came with two small snags but I didn’t think anything of it until my toe caught one and it unraveled so fast. If anything catches one of the loops it will automatically come undone. For sure, do not buy this one if you have pets.
