Mainstays Foam Wedge Pillow

Some online reviews said that the pillow was way too firm, but this wedge pillow is the absolutely perfect support and elevation to alleviate my problems with acid reflux, snoring, neck pain, and lumbar scoliosis. I put a small pillow under my neck for comfort, and I have slept better this past week after using the wedge pillow than I have for the past year.

I was diagnosed with Laryngopharyngeal Reflux (LPR) and my Doc instructed me to start sleeping with a wedge and on my left side. He said the wedge would provide elevation and gravity would prevent acid reflux from flowing from my stomach to my esophagus. I have been using this one from Walmart since December 1st/sleeping on my left side and what a game changer! My throat issues are almost gone. I have been a stomach sleeper my whole life and thought it would be hard to sleep elevated and on my side, but this pillow made it easy! The firmness is perfect and the slick white cover stays clean. perfect for recovering from neck surgery. my bed is not against a wall and has no headboard. i was able to use this pillow as a base and put my comfy pillows on top of it...no pillows sliding off %26 works great to keep me from having to sleep in a recliner

7.5 " is perfect to sleep inclined on my side without neck issues. I got this for traveling as I can no longer sleep on a flat mattress (my home bed is adjustable). Nice and firm so I can use a pillow with it. I was considering discontinuing traveling due to sleeping problems. I feel confident that this will solve the problem!

I was looking online to find this type of pillow could not get one any time soon on all other sites , this is simple , this is all you need for acid reflux, amazon was three or four days out, walmart headed my local store 1/3 of the price of Amazon.I drove to the store the next day.It brought it out to my car. you can't do better than this, you need 1 get 1.They will help you sleep better and feel better.

This wedge pillow has a nicely fitted, zippered case that can be removed for laundering. If you are used to a soft pillow as I was, the firmness of the wedge may require time to adjust. I started by putting my soft pillow on the lowest part of the wedge and am working my way up. The wedge is especially nice for reading in bed.

Good product. Foam wedge with washable cover. The washable cover is great and so far has held up through multiple wash cycles. The pillow helps with acid reflux and is a small prop up , not too much to be uncomfortable.

this is the second one I have ordered from mainstay through Walmart and it works perfectly to elevate my head and chest to help ease my breathing issues. it is firm and durable. I had the first one 8 years before having to replace it.

I purchased this wedge for a nasal surgery and an up coming shoulder replacement surgery. It took about 1 to 2 weeks to get used to the wedge pillow, I had to use different pillows to achieve the proper elevation and comfort. I am 2 weeks post op on the nasal surgery and I use the wedge when ever I am sleeping. It useful to cover the wedge with a sheet folded over to add some padding . It stays put and doesn't slide around. I have used as if I had my .shoulder surgery to see how the comfort and position would be and I believe it will be fine, there is plenty of room on either side of my shoulders where my shoulders are not hanging over the wedge. The cover that comes with it is quality.

I use this wedge when my lower back flares up. I use it when I have a cold and I want my sinuses to drain. I’ve used it when I sprained my ankle and it needed elevating. I’ve used it while sitting up in bed and working to support my back. So many times I’ve used this for my family for different issues. It’s almost like a given that I have this pillow at home for the many times it’s been used. The foam is firm but very comfy when you lay on it. The cover is a plus since it keeps the foam clean, which is zippered so it can easily be removed and tossed in the wash. The comfort can’t be beat and neither can the price. I saw this exact same wedge selling in a medical catalog for twice the price I got this for. Matter of fact, I think I want to get another because my allergies are kicking up and all the sneezing I’m doing is making my back hurt. If you are on the fence, get it. It’s not too high and it’s not too low. It’s just right!
