i love how something with such good quality is this cheap! i got 8 bowls for 4 bucks and i dont think anything can beat that!

You wouldn't want to serve your mother-in-law soup in this, but it's great for carrying a snack to the tv.

I highly recommend these Mainstay Purple 38 oz bowls. They are perfect for everyday use, camping, picnics, tailgate parties, or anything else you may need a plastic bowl for. I particularly like them when my 3-year-old grandson comes over. He can use them without the fear of breaking them, as they are very sturdy and microwave approved. The price is also very reasonable, so you can get as many as you need.

The Mainstays 38-ounce Round Scalloped Bowl is simple, but well made. I love the muted purple tones in this bowl, and the scalloped edges make this bowl perfect for setting out candy corn, or any other small candies, in style! This bowl is solid, and can be used for everyday things such as soup or cereal. This bowl is simple to handwash, and super lightweight.

this bowl is a good size, I love it for ramen especially. I did try it out in the microwave and as expected it was hot to the touch at 2 minutes for a bowl of ramen but thats to be expected as I've noticed with other bowls as well. I The color is nice and the scalloped edge gives it a nice touch. I do recommend this bowl.

This is a light weight plastic bowl with attractive scalloping on the top edge, which really dresses up what is ultimately an inexpensive, functional plastic bowl. The soft, dusty light blue is a nice color and goes well with my kitchen and other dishes. I was concerned the plastic might get stained by things like spaghetti sauce or chili, but it doesn’t. It’s very easy to clean out, and food doesn’t stick to the inside at all. The finish is a nice matte texture. I like that the base is nice and wide, keeping it more stable and less likely to tip and spill. The bowl is very light, which makes it less stable anyway, in my opinion. But it’s also a non-issue when it comes to clumsy people or kids. I also appreciate it being microwavable and dishwasher (top rack) safe, and BPA free is a nice feature. The bowl has a capacity of 38 ounces, which is quite generous. It’s great for things like cereal or soup or chips. I like to use it for popcorn too – not too big, not too small. It’s good for outside picnics and taking along with you in the car. It would make a great dog bowl too.

This is a great all purpose little bowl. Since it's plastic this bowl is safe and ubreakable if using with children, pets, elderly or for crafts or cooking. It's usage is unlimited; currently using as a food prep bowl but it would also be great as a snack bowl for kids, to store craft materials, as a plant starter or many other uses throughout your home. It's dishwasher safe and will come in handy for many household uses.

I have a few of these plates, bowls and cups in several colors. I have used these for several months now. The plates are very durable and don't deform after being put through the dishwasher or microwave. They hold up pretty well when my family uses knives on them, though I try to discourage knife use on plastic plates to begin with. The cups are equally good and don't seem to stain. But to be fair, I have dark colored dinnerware. I do enjoy the sturdy nature of the bowls. They distribute heat well, allowing you to hold hot liquids in it with ease. My only wish is that the bowls nested more compactly. They have a high profile in my cabinet, taking up more height space than I would like. As a result, I need two stacks of bowls instead of the single stack of bowls I had replaced them with.

I've microwaved Potatoes in these for years now. I'm not saying do this...but I wanted to test the product, and it holds up well to heat from my microwave. They are smaller than I thought they would be but for 50 cents...I can't complain too much...right? If you need a simple plastic bowl...I would recommend these.
