love the fact that for such a cheap price it is a very good quality and it's a very durable and that it can be used in the microwave and dishwasher
This may sound weird, but I did not get the Mainstays 10-1/2 inch Plastic Plate to use for eating. I actually got it to use as a potted plant drip tray. Whereas so many plant drip trays are flimsy and break easy, I like the fact that the Mainstays plate is solid. I also like the fact that I could get it in green! Again, so many "regular" plant drip trays are either clear, black, or "clay" colored. Works great for why I got it!
Just perfect ..... the Mainstays 10.5 inch Round Plastic Plate, in Grey color is exactly what I needed .... a ;quick go-to when I need to microwave the leftovers yet pretty enough to use daily and like that it is dishwasher safe ... very highly recommend these! ;)
I didn’t think these dinnerware separates could get any better! This plate is absolutely adorable! I have so many of the plain cups, plates and bowls already but these really step it up a notch. My teenager always goes for the scalloped edge plate first and so does my toddler… I even found it in her play kitchen! The purple mauve color is stunning it’s possibly my new favorite color now. The scalloped edging does make cleaning the plates a little annoying if you don’t have a dishwasher, like us, but it’s not the worst!
I've been a huge fan of these plates for a few years now. I am pretty clumsy and have chipped or broken other plates many times, but not these plastic plates. They are dishwasher and microwave safe, and super durable. A very sharp steak knife does leave a mark on them though, but for 50 cents each, I just load up on them in many different colors!
This is not my first Mainstays plate so I am quite familiar. Light as a feather, sturdy, as in, pile on all the food you want with no worries it's not going to bend and spill the meal. BPA free, dishwasher and microwave safe. I have used these plates under every condition i.e. at the beach, BBQ and at home and never had a problem. Like any other plastic plate using anything other than metal utensils, especially knives, will prolong the life of it. All around excellent product that will give years of use.
Well it's a plastic plate it's nice it's got like a little edge all around it so if you like put gravy on your plate it's not going to leak over the sides so that's a nice feature it's dishwasher safe microwave safe topic only on the dishwasher but outside I like the plate it's good plate and I wish I had more.
Good plate, has a wrapped lip. Handy for juicy steaks or if thine gravy runith over. The markings for type of plastic are 5 PP aka Polypropylene. Dishwasher safe on top rack and microwave. Made in china. I prefer plastic plates over the stoneware. Stone gets very hot, makes a ton of racket, and is not a grab a stack with one hand kinda plate. There is one issue. They have a round sticker on the back, it's perforated in a pie, then a ring on the outer edge.. makes taking it off annoying. Why would you waste the time, money, machinery, just to annoy the customers that will have to take it off?
These plates are pretty but I won't use them regularly. I use paper plates always unless I need to cut something I'm serving. Then I use my ceramic plates. These plastic plates have the same issue as paper. The knife cuts them. I don't have a dishwasher so sanitizing them is difficult if not impossible. They're ok for some. Not for me.
This is a nice plate for entertaining mostly when not formal but formal doesn't mean the same for everyone I like the softness of the plate. Though it has circumference is not flat I wouldn't put too much anything that has a lot of juice. I wondered about the sides being not flat and the plat itself where food would be placed onto it. It is not a bowl it is a plate. I believe I wondered because of something that I read before receiving one. The plate is quality, the color sage is pretty. I cant get over the way it feels very soft and also it seems that it would hold up to not breaking easily. Personally if I had 2 of these and nothing else to do would see what it would take to cut it. I know but it seems so sturdy and non breakable only with a lot of force I just wondered. Myself I could use more of these but I try to not buy so much or many. I have much now and so having 1 or 2 new items to decorate with works fine for me.
