love this trash can. it's perfect for keeping the cats out. though, be earned, your cats will love it too... disclaimer: cats may wear your batteries down by constantly watching the lid flap up. the size and price were great! it's so easy to use that my boyfriend is actually throwing his trash in the trash can. wow. I would have spent the $33 sooner if I would have known this trash can was also magic. it's great for small places but large enough to accommodate a full 13 gallon bag. bags fit pretty easily. you do have to stretch them a big but it's not too bad. I like the matte black appearance as well. may buy a second one for work oh, and if you're impatient like me and rush into setting it up, you'll likely miss the on/off switch on the backside.

This automatic trash can is worth every penny and is very affordable. It is light weight and takes normal size batteries. I like how you can turn it on and off in the back. And you can also put it on hold and the top will stay open. It doesn’t open when I walk by it only opens when I stand in front of it. I would give it ten stars if I could. I highly recommend this bad boy! Originally, I had the metal white one that they don’t make anymore. I had to replace it because the top wouldn’t go up anymore and it was rusting. It took the big batteries and it was heavy.

I have to admit that I was not expecting much from this trash can. I previously purchased a different brand for my kitchen years ago and spent well over $100 and it eventually gave out on me. Bought a cheaper one for my guest bathroom and it broke within a week. So, I did not have high hopes, but we just moved and I needed something and thought I'd give it a shot. GLAD I DID! It fits great in small places, but I chose to put it at the end of my bar. The matte black color worked well with the colors of my kitchen so it being out doesn't feel like it affects the look of tidiness in there. VERY please. I love that you can tap to keep it open and quick tap to go back to automatic mode. Batteries are easy to access and change. The opening isn't HUGE, but it's sufficient enough and easy to wipe clean if something does spill on it. I would purchase again.

Love the look, quality, easy to install bags, easy set up to use. It seems to be built well. I would recommend it and would purchase again. I was very fortunate and got it on sale which was an even bigger plus. I love it. I read some references to the product coming damaged mine came in tacked, on my porch, in a delivery bag and was handle with respect and care by the delivery person. Fit's in the space perfect.

I love this garbage can. It opens with the wave of your hand and then closes by itself. But if u want to keep it opened for a lil bit u can push the button and it will stay opened till you push the button to close it. I would definitely recommend this smart close garbage can.

A trash can is not going to change your life but every time I throw something away and every time I take out the garbage, I’m so happy I have this trash can. It holds my Aldi 13 gallon bags and it doesn’t get stuck when job pull out a full bag. It’s easy to clean but stays so clean because you don’t touch it. It stays open just the right amount of time but you can hold it open with a push of a button. Batteries seem to last a long time so far. It looks great. The only tiny thing I would have changed would be to make the edge of the lid that hangs over a little longer so it completely covers the top of the bag but that minor cosmetic consideration is nothing compared to all the perks of such an affordable product. I’m buying a second one right now for a housewarming gift.

If I had anything to complain about is the fact that it doesn’t use rechargeable batteries, I know how crazy that sounds but if you read the label before you purchase, it will clearly state this of course me and myself I tried it anyhow, and it would not power on at all…. once I put regular alkaline batteries in it’s been functioning well for the last three months.

Very easy to use. Just pop the batteries in and you're done. I love that the lid is extremely quiet in opening and closing. I was worried that the bag would fall inside, since it appears to be taller than my bags. However, that was not a problem. I bought my first automatic can from Walmart about five years ago, and after the abuse it went through, I needed to replace it. I also paid less for this one than the old one. Let's see how long it holds up!

We needed another trash can for the kitchen because our other one just stopped all of a sudden. Boy, are trash cans expensive these days! We wanted to hide the garbage so a lidded can was necessary. I didn’t want to spend $80 just to put trash in, so I came upon this at a fraction of the price. It is perfect! Looks good, works well, and didn’t cost an arm and a leg. Just buy it! 😊

i loved this trash can for about the first 3 months i had it and then one day i changed the batteries in it cause the lid quit workin and it never worked again if i wanted a trash can with a lid that i had to manually open i wouldve bought one this was supposed to keep ya from havin to worry with that and was great cause my dogs were afraid of it and stayed outta the trash but now its crap and hasnt worked for 3 months or better dont recommend
