I bought 4 blinds. They are very high quality. Sturdy, very nice appearance. The first one was hard to install the blind to the brackets because the directions weren't super clear, but once I understood, the other ones went up easily. I liked that each blind came individually %26 carefully boxed ( and all 4 were in the shipping box) for protection. Each blind came with the hardware needed to install, and a template for getting the brackets placed precisely. They look beautiful and add a lot of ambiance to the room. They are also very easy to operate. No cords, just a nice smooth roll up and down. They are also very affordable.
This shade is great It is super easy to use and to install. It covers the whole window and keeps the sun out when you want it covered. It is a simple pull down to close and it slides up nice and easy. They are nice and sturdy and well made. It is made of good material.
A shade is a shade. That being said the Mainstays Light filtering Slow Release Roller Shade does a great job. It's easy to pull down and with the Slow Release mechanism, it gently rolls up to let the light in. I also like the way it filters the light making it easy to control the light that enters the room. I am confident that you will find this to be a good shade for your window needs.
I really like Mainstay’s Light Filtering Roller Shade. I have the 30x72” size. This shade is so easy to adjust. It has a slow-closing design so you don’t have the extra work of having it go all the way to the top to readjust. It comes with easy to read instructions and the hardware. All you need is pencil to mark the bracket mount paper template. You will need a Phillips head screwdriver and a drill. The shade comes with a limited one year manufacturer’s warranty.
This light shade is really nice. It is easy to install and really blocks the light. I love the slow raising feature. It sure beats the old style that would fly up and make all kinds of noise. The ring is really well built. The quality is high end and made to last.
The installation took me a few mins to figure out. I got the 30x72 size and it fit perfectly. The template makes sure the brackers are in the perfect place to attatch the shade. I was a little concerned that there was only two screws per side given all the tugging that will be happening, but so far so good and they do feel secure. As a night shift worker, I do wish that it blocked a little more light, but with some darker curtains, I think I can manage. The retraction took a little figuring out too. 1/2 inch tug is all it takes to let them up, so make sure you dont pull too much or they will just keep unrolling more and more. Overall Im happy, just not sure if I will buy anymore just yet.
Bought these roller shades to replace some of my old fashion blinds that are in a window in my house. The roller shade came in a nice box with all the instructions which were easy to follow for installation. The rolling mechanism is very smooth, and the shades look great once they are hung. they are easy to release and pull back down. I would install these in every room at my house if I had the money.
Exactly what I wanted at a great price.
We bought this for our guest room and I regret the purchase. When I think 'light filtering' and look at the image in the product listing, I don't picture this. It blocks visibility from inside to outside and vice versa but it doesn't filter (ie, reduce) ANY light. Also, we really struggled with figuring out how to make it go back up the first time we tried, so I think it'll be hard for our guests to manage, because it's not intuitive. The slow release means you pull down just an inch and then release the pressure. There's no snap to it like old roller shades used to have. And whatever you do, DO NOT grasp it by both edges like my husband did when he tried, because it'll wrinkle as it rolls up, and also if you have any natural oils in your fingertips you will stain the edges. Just use the plastic pull tab, pull gently down by about an inch, and then let your hand follow it up.
Problem 1: I ordered my item for next day pick up. The app gave me the option of selecting a pick uptime frame. I chose 2pm Monday. When I RECEIVED my email confirmation, it said the item would be delivered by 10pm on Monday. I was surprised but okay with a delivery later that same day. Monday I received notification there was a delay with no information on when I'd receive my shades. They arrived Tuesday night. This would t have been an issue except for the fact we were leaving town Wednesday night. Problem 2: Just removed the 1st shade from the packaging, which had scotch tape on it. The shade mechanism fell out of the shade and was in several pieces. It looks like someone broke it, repackaged it, returned it, and that Walmart resold it and shipped it to me. Im annoyed and disappointed. I'm leaving town and needed to install this before leaving. Now I have to try and find a replace nearby last minute.
