works great in terms of lint removal and fuzz everything comes off in a swipe. I like the little case because it collects the lint off. it swipes. Five out of five in terms of easee of use
I've only ever used the sticky lint roller and was skeptical if this thing would work. It does! It's very snug in the holder so you have to use a little muscle to pull out the brush. There are arrows on the brush to show you which way to brush along your clothes. I thought that was a nice feature. Once done, you put the brush back in the holder and the really tight fit makes it so that it "cleans" the brush as push it back in the holder. The excess lint will collect at the bottom of the base which is removable so you can empty as needed. Would highly recommend!
My dog practically lives in this green chair next to my desk and she is perpetually shedding. I wanted to see how this lint brush would tackle the chair after working find on pants. The cleaning functional is different, you have to take off the bottom and empty it like a pencil sharpener or vacuum.
This self cleaning lint remover is pretty neat. It took us a few tries to figure out how to remove the cover. It has the same material to remove lint from the handle inside the cover which removes the hair and lint. We have a dog and this helps clean up our black and dark clothes. My kids like to use it lol. The arrows helps them know what direction to use each velvet side.
I have a variety of lint brushes, one in each room and at work to remove cat hair from my clothes, sofa/chairs, and bedding. This is my favorite one. I'll eventually replace the others with more of these.
I love that this lint roller is reusable, it's better for the environment. It works will gentle brushing motions on most surfaces. This did a great job taking the cat hair off my couch cover. It does take some strength to pull out of the case. But it is self cleaning and the bottom of the case is removable to empty when it's full.
While this worked well the bottom (where I assume is there to empty the hair) fell off the 1st time I used it. I taped it back on but it should have been made better, with maybe a tab to open and put back.
The product doesn't work like it says it does and that's very disappointing for the customers 😕
Mainstays is Walmart's brand and one of the many reasons I shop at and order online from them. I have come across very few items of the many thousands in their inventory that I have ever been unhappy with. Sadly, today is one of those days. I am hoping due to the fact this is plastic it maybe melted too tightly and there is a small issue that can be quickly modified with a quality check. Or better yet, I got the only faulty one. The Mainstays Hair&Lint Remover Brush with reusable cleaning base in theory is a great idea. I liked that it was small and light. I could either leave it in my laundry room, SUV, or even purse if needed. But it has many faults. Or I should state the one I obtained has many faults. To begin with, I needed my husband's strength to pull the brush out and he was struggling with it. He tried putting it in and out several times hoping to make the process easier to no avail. It states in the directions to brush in the direction indicated on the brush. (that's where those arrows come in). Yet when I tried both ways it didn't pick up or release any lint. So overall I found the brush and holder to be a total fail for me. The only useful thing is that you can store the brush upside down but because it doesn't work anyway it's not an option.
Couldn't get the brush out of the cleaner/holder.
