Mainstays Non-Skid Rug Pad

With two dogs playing on the carpet and us pushing away from couch upon standing the carpet was constantly moving. With this mat under the carpet it no longer moves and feels softer.

I recently had all new flooring put thru the whole house; no more carpet. I did buy a 6' round braided rug for the LR, which the cats continually skidded into a bunched up mess when they got the zoomies. I did not want to use double sided tape so I bought this nonskid pad. It was fairly easy to cut for the round rug and a smaller rug at the door. And it actually keeps the rug in place when the kitties are playing so I am very happy. The price was very good, too. It's a big piece so I plan to share with others.

This rug pad is thin but gets the job done. You cannot beat the price for this great product. It works great with my very large area rugs, haven't had any slippage at all once the pad was in place. I have reccomeneded this product to several of my friends along with purchasing multiple myself.

I bought an absolutely stunning Rifle Paper Co. rug. It's almost tapestry like so it doesn't have a non skid bottom on it. It really needed a rug pad but, oh my gosh they are so expensive! I had already spent more than I normally would have on that rug. So I decided to give this a try and so glad I did! I really didn't want to put rug tape on my fancy new rug and risk messing up the bottom (not hating on rug tape I love it too). I cut it to fit my rug which was a little under 8x10 and it's stayed perfectly. No complaints with this. I couldn't have hoped for a better value.

Works well,I have no problems with slipping and no problems with odor.

The pad is very thick and holds the carpet well.

The runner rugs I purchased from Walmart slipped on the floor. This took care of the problem

Short sides were cut fairly evenly ( /- 1/2”), but long sides were skewed -6” from one side 5” on the opposite side. This amount of discrepancy means the pad will need to be cut. Honestly not sure how quality control didn't catch this. Otherwise, it grips nicely.

I have hardwood floors. These were to hold rugs in place that the backing was also grippy. They slide all over the floor. It is easy to slip on them. I liked the large size so I could trim it down to fit.
