This baking sheet works very well and is the perfect size for the purpose I wanted it for! It cleans easy and things do not stick to it. I was a bit apprehensive to buy this inexpensive pan, but it has proven to be just as good as a more expensive pan and at a very reasonable price. Don't hesitate, go get you one.
On the date mentioned, I went to return an item. Associate Teresa helped me with the process. In order to print the return, she had to reset and prepare the machine used for the sticker. With patience and calm she replaced and then proceeded to process the receipt. She apologized for the wait but truly I was more appreciative of her willingness to fix the problem . I sure wish there were more “Teresa's” in our working world! Thank you Teresa for all you did.
The Mainstays Nonstick Cookie Sheet is the perfect size for making a batch of cookies. It is small but holds enough cookie dough for your baking needs. As advertised, it is nonstick and does not leave any broken cookies behind. The Mainstays cookie pan makes baking a batch of cookies and the clean up a breeze!
I reccomend you select and buy your baking materials in person instead of online. Mine was bought online so I was given a dirty cookie sheet pan. It's more flexible than expected. I'm not sure if the stains were water stains or what, but I wouldn't doubt it if I was sold a return at full price with all kinds of marks and dirt.
To small… I guess if you're only back prepackaged biscuits or cookies it'd be fine, but if you're making a large batch, then get a much bigger cookie sheet.
This Mainstays Nonstick Cookie Sheet is the smaller size cookie sheet and it says it's nonstick and does have that kind of finish. It says it is made of steel but it flexes, it bends. With it doing that I knew immediately it's not a cookie sheet I would personally buy. I would suggest if you do decide to buy this pan to use a non stick foil when baking. Now you could display baked treats on this inexpensive pan. You can also use it to carry them when going to a dinner function as that's what I will be using it for; and by doing that it will last longer because truthfully it's not made for daily use. Another idea is you can let your children use it in learning to cook as I'm sure we don't want them to destroy our good cookware....so then that will work :-).
I used this pan today in the oven to cook my supper. As I removed it from the oven the smoke alarm went off bc the pan was giving off an odor. The house still smells like the cookie sheet odor. I opened windows and turned on a ceiling fan. I washed it before using it. The pan is warped bc I heard a loud noise from within the oven.
These warp as soon as they get hot. They were the same price as disposable aluminum cookie sheets, I am not upset about the purchase and while I can't use them to cook on, I can use them to stage stuff I intend to grill so they still have a purpose but I can't recommend them.
Very disappointing. I moved recently into a small studio apartment with an undersized stove, and I needed small pans. I usually like Mainstays products, but this one started shedding its coating by the 4th use, and that was even with using parchment paper under the food.
Impossible to see in the listing photo, but around the entire inside edge of the pan (where the food goes) there's an indent about 1/4 inch wide. What genius thought putting a literal trough to catch and bake grease into a rock was a good idea? Absolutely no way to clean in there. Returning this piece of junk.
