😊👍 I bought them to replace my much older ones and these are bigger. good quality and price, I also found a set if 3 silicone bread pans that fit inside of them to make my baking experience much easier and worry free no more hassles with the uncooperative parchment paper. these 2 items work together for a much better outcome of whatever I bake or to put in fridge to set up a refrigerated recipe as well. Thanks Walmart for having these great products on your website. 😊👍
I've been buying disposable pans because I rarely baked but we discovered lemon poppy seed streusel cake and we all enjoy it. It's also good for meatloaf. Recommend.
This is a nice pan! Wasn't sure what I would get for the inexpensive price but was really surprised! Nicely surprised! Sturdy and definitely non stick! I really like it!
This little loaf pan is great, no matter if I am making apple bread or meatloaf, it comes out perfect every time. Also no matter the type of food I have used nothing has stuck on the pan. When it's time to clean the pan I just gently wipe it out with a little soap and running water, or just pop it in the dishwasher. The end handles are big enough to grab the pan with oven mitts on with ease.
When I received the Mainstays Nonstick Loaf Pan (9”L x 5”W x 2.7”H), I washed it by hand then let it dry naturally. The next day I used this loaf pan to bake a Wild Blueberry Muffin Mix but instead of muffins, I put the completed mix in this loaf pan and baked according to the temperature and bake time on the mix box. I really like the size of this large loaf pan and look forward to using it. The mix did have ½ cups oil added and did say to lightly grease the loaf pan. I was going to try without greasing the pan but I put a little avocado oil on a paper towel and rubbed it on all the sides. Because I had put only a little on the paper towel, I could barely tell which areas were covered before pouring in the mix. After baking, I let site for about 10 minutes, used a plastic flat utensil to slide down all the sides then I turned the pan over and the Wild Blueberry Loaf slid right out. I was not watching as planned so some of the top was somewhat burned which I believe was the sweetener I had sprinkled on the top. Thankfully the ‘burnt' part only tasted a little burnt. I then put the pan in the dishwasher and it came out clean. There is a discrepancy on Use and Care instructions. The information on the website and the front of the label that arrives in the loaf pan is somewhat different. The front of the label says Durable nonstick finish; Easy release & cleanup; and Dishwasher safe. But the back of the label says to dry promptly after washing; Dishwasher is safe but Hand washing is recommended. It also states to not use the detergent tablets because the concentrated cleansers will damage the finish. But we do use the detergent pods and I did not dry the loaf pan when I first washed it by hand. Since I will not normally be using the Mainstays Nonstick Loaf Pan weekly then I feel the pan will last me.
Mainstays Non-Stick Large Loaf pan, 9x5x2.7 in size, dark grey in color, is for me a kitchen essential. This loaf pan handles oven temperatures and any of my favorite recipes. I have it to make mostly meat loaves as well as quick breads like banana nut loaf. It is just the right size to fit my appliances. It has a life-time warranty. The nonstick finish will last and look good with a little care to protect it. The pan is extended on each end to form handles that are long enough to provide a good grip when removing the hot pan from the oven. The lip on each side gives enough of a surface to pull out of my toaster oven or lift out of my other appliances. With the nonstick finish, I can easily get the loaf or quick bread to turn out onto a plate or cooling rack, then put the pan up after a quick soapy rinse and wipe. It can also go in the dishwasher. I will not slice a loaf while it is still in the pan since that would scratch the finish. I plan to get (1) – (2) more pans since they stack with just a little paper to protect the nonstick finish.
The labels glued to the pans are awful, I couldn't get the glue off the inside bottom of the pans. I used hot water and a soft scrubber, it will not come off, how am I going to bake with that glue on the bottom? It's horrible, could have used something else to stick the labels to the pan.
When you get there, you can call the number and they claim they never hear it. You call again they claim they never hear it. I went to the door and ask him I've been here. I've been watching everybody else get their stuff and this is not my first time it's my second time that I had this kind of experience. The boys were very polite very polite about saying I'll get your stuff.
The pans seems to be good quality but as others have stated, getting the label out of the inside of the pan was a frustrating job. Why did a paper label have to be glued in with a substance that could hold a rocket ship together!! I finally was able to get the glue loose by soaking it with GooGone and gently scraping with a blunt butter knife. Other than the label issue, the pans are just what I need for baking quick breads.
After finally getting my product, the glue used to hold the price tag in place is completely stuck to every single pan. It also got stuck on several parts of my fingers and hurt tremendously to pull off.
