Mainstays Over-the-Door Rectangular Mirror, White, 14" x 50"

My wife needed a full length mirror for our bedroom so we ordered this. The price was nice for the quality. The frame is a nice neutral gold. Doesn’t look too bright and cheap but isn’t dull and “antiqued” either. The reflection is true, no distortion and the mirror is very clear and easy to clean. She hung it on the back of our door using the applied hangers. It was easy enough for her to do without any help and is very lightweight. She did notice that it would bounce with movement of the door so we added sticky tape to the back of it to help it secure.

We live in a tight space and I needed an extra mirror in the room where I get ready and this was perfect. It fits so easily over the door and the hooks were already in place at the top of the mirror and just needed to be gently pulled up for it to fit over the door. Absolutely love it and an amazing price!

This is a full length mirror that does what a back of the bath or bed room door is supposed to do for a very affordable price. You wouldn't necessarily want to display it as a part of your decor, but it deserves its spot in your walk-in closet or, as noted, on the back of a bathroom door or a bedroom door. Can't beat the price.

I was so worried this would not be sturdy or would be a headache to put together or secure, but the mirror came out together with little pull outs that slid right over the door and mounting tape already in place to secure it. I had no problem ripping the packing off or removing the paper glued to the front. The mirror itself is very light weight. I'm five months pregnant with twins so to be able to lift this, hang it up, and secure it so easily was amazing!

This thing is surprisingly heavyweight for $17. Nice thick and weighty frame, little to no warping, crystal clear image, and simple to hang on the door. The hooks are where the sturdiness declines, but they work perfectly fine! Huge value for the money.

I absolutely love these mirrors and the price fits my budget completely. It’s amazing and somewhat a hassle not to be able to find these in the store.

It has the over the door hangers built in. If you need to hang it over a door, just pull up the hangers and hang it. The sticky pads on the bottom that keep the mirror from banging against the door didn't hold very well on my door. I used a small piece of double sided tape and now it's stuck firmly. The mirror looks good and reflects perfectly. A good buy for the money.

This mirror was purchased to go on a bathroom door which is one of the applications shown in the pictures on the Walmart website. The mirror is what I expected for the price, not top quality but usable and worth the cost. The frame looks ok and the mirror seems to reflect accurately, not distorted. However, the mounting hardware (a small clip with two tiny screws) is questionable to mount this big mirror on a stationary wall. I definitely won't count on it to hold this big mirror onto a moving door, even though the mirror is not heavy.

The price I paid for it was okay. It was somewhat easy to hang up but there were some problems. Opening the product was quite a nuisance, there were multiple staples that were difficult to remove, I didn't have a hammer so I ended up using a pair of nail clippers. Also the hanging poles were made for thicker doors, so if you had a thin door or normal sized door, your mirror is probably going to get pushed away from the door when you close it. There are two stickers on the bottom that help stick to the wall. It helps somewhat, it could do a better job in my opinion. It's kind of annoying opening the door now for my bedroom. Honestly I think it would be better if you would buy a mirror with screws instead of the hanging mechanic. If you have a closet for your bedroom, that would certainly be better.

Be careful when buying these mirrors. This is a so called "slimming mirror". I had no idea until son-in- law pointed it out. I thought he was crazy until I compared it side by side with my bathroom mirror. He said stores use them in dressing rooms to make you look better in their clothes. There was nothing to indicate on the mirror that it wasn't a regular mirror. Very disappointed.
