Mainstays Performance Cotton 6-Piece Bath Towel Set, Super Soft Quick Dry Fade Resistant, Solid Blue

I purchased 2 bath sheets of this Mainstays collection in white, and immediately threw out all my 20 year old towels. I purchesed a dark grey, sage and white towel set and 2 bath sheets in sage %26 grey. I absolutely love these towels. Glad I ordered when I did as they are ALL almost OUT OF STOCK!! Great towels for an incredible price. Wal-Mart, you have a winner..... Con: They have a terribly foul smell. Wash before using. Would absolutley recommend!!!

Very, very nice towel set!! The color is as depicted in the ad. Shipping was prompt, which I appreciated! My issues are: they shed (lint) like crazy until the third or fourth washing. Also, I found many loose threads on the seams, so I had to cut them off. Otherwise, I'm satisfied!!

Beautiful color and lovely towels! After using, I toss them in the dryer for 15 minutes. My only issue is that they shed (lint] A Lot, so make sure you clean the dryer filter!!

I have not used these towels yet because we are still in the remodeling stage of my daughter's bathroom. Although they are the color, size and number of towels I ordered

The color is very pleasing- and very impressed with the thick plush feel for the very reasonable cost the set was.. I washed them - regular cycke and all were free of any loose fibers ..quite fluffy..perfect for the college dorm and fair price

While they are nice and thick, the blue is darker than it looks in the picture. They must be washed before using as stated. Be very careful as the washer fills with a LOT of lint, as well as the dryer. I had to stop it and remove big clumps a couple of times during the cycle. I actually thought they were coming apart in the wash, but they did turn out nice after drying. I will be watching future wash cycles just in case.

I ordered this set in "soft sea" color. Very nice subtle tone. Quite a bit of lint on the initial washing and drying, not unexpected. Somewhat less when I ran it through a second cycle to get more lint out. Nothing that shocked me. I have 10 year-old towels that still produce a fair amount of lint. We all have towels like that no matter what level of perceived quality. Something that did surprise me, however, is the difference in ordering these towels as a set versus individually. I wanted this set for my guest bathroom and I wanted to have a few extra hand towels in the same shade so I bought those individually at my local store. When I washed up those individually purchased hand towels I noticed they seemed more plush and fluffy versus the two hand towels that were included in the set. I also bought the same exact hand towels in "soft silver" and those also washed up with the same fluffiness that seems to accompany individual towels versus the set. That's not to say that the towels within the set lack any type of absorbency or plush, it was just far more noticeable with the individually purchased towels. Some people like a towel that's a little bit less plush. If that's what you seek then by all means order this as the set of six versus individual pieces. If you want fluff on a budget I believe these towels will provide that, but purchase them individually if that's your goal. Overall, very pleased with my purchase, no regrets for primary use as guest towels.

Not as thick as I expected, but the polyester part will help the bath towel retain their shapes. All cotton actually deform over time. Too much fuzz comes off towels until washed or used several times. QA problem.

I really wanted to love these towels. They are pretty in color, nice size, soft to the touch and fluffy. The big drawback is the material. I washed the towels (according to directions) before use. I immediately noticed the little lint balls coming off into the shower. So, I yanked them all out if the closet to wash again. Today I used one of these towels and still got lint balls. I'll just keep washing them and hope they get better.

seller was fine. I had washed them when I found out they were terrible so I couldn't return them. The towels themselves were awful. They fell apart and changed color in the wash no bleach was used. They went from dark forest green to a light kelly green. same with the blue towels. made the mistake of shaking it after and little pompoms of towel went everywhere. make a good rag though. it was a bad choice. they looked better online. I do not recommend them.
