Mainstays Performance Cotton Bath Towel, Super Soft Quick Dry Fade Resistant, Textured Yellow

Unfortunately, it seems like this line of towels is being phased out. I like these towels and the colors they come in. My whole bedroom and bathroom are decorated with the dusty rose or peach colored and mint green colors of towels, bathmats, comforters and rugs, so this upsets me.

These towels are BEAUTIFUL! They're almost as big as bath sheets. Thick but not too thick, color is muted and the ribbing = they look very expensive! There are no hanging threads and the edges are finished beautifully! Unfortunately, one towel arrived with a blue stain on it (see photo). Otherwise, these are ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ towels at a ⭐️ star price!

I bought 2 Mainstays white bath towels and I used them for making a handmade blanket that's made of 8 other old towels of various colors and the two white towels to complete it. The only problem with these towels is that they're made with a chain stitch so when you cut them in pieces or in half the threads start to pull apart and the towel unravels. The towel shouldn't have been made with a chain stitch. When I sewed the two towels I sewed the intact outer edges of the towel to the other towels that were already a part of the blanket. That was successful but when I tried cutting one towel in half to make it one long 7" wide strip of cloth to fill in a gap between two towels the thread just started to pull apart and I'm afraid what would happen if I ever wash the blanket. It may fall apart or maybe not. I don't know if I can wash the blanket in the future. I do know that the blanket is soft and extremely heavy, thick and warm. These towels are great for making blankets as long as you don't cut them in pieces. The blanket ended up being used to keep warm sitting on the sofa and me being all wrapped up in it.

I have purchased many of these brand towels with the quick dry type in many colors. They are more like the concept of chamois to me so far as how they scoop up the water off you but don't soak the towel all up. I am very happy with these towels. I wish they would stock up on all the colors of these in the store so I could replenish my stock. The wash cloths were larger than some so that was also good. I got hand towels, wash cloths, bath towels andddddd the bath sheets. I would recommend the whole set.

These towels are a great buy wonderful item they are quit large, so soft not thin or overly thick but just exactly how i like my bath towels. colors are exactly as pictured, I love these. great value and a quality product. I am definately buying more of these. Yes i recommend these.

My Egyptian towels I loved but I moved to a house temporarily with no hookups. My towels was not getting clean or completely dried at the laundromat.. to thick. The Walmart version after trying other brands… was not full of lint and threads did not come out.

The towels are soft, but when you wash them they lose their color and they end up mottled looking; almost as if bleach were applied. I don't use bleach or a non chlorine bleach. The hand towels have huge areas on them where the color is gone from them.

I think I got a bate and switch I did not notice till I washed it. I ordered the same color in a check pattern. Got this scratch horrible thing. I got 1 use out of it. All the lint from all other washed items stuck to it on the second washing. Also. NOT COTTON AS STATED. This experience will change what I buy from Walmart. These towels and the one I tried to buy are NOT COTTON. I think I will print the receipt and return it to a store even if they wont refund. They can use use as the RAG it is to mop a floor.

This is just a giant lint ball. I am sadly disappointed and I do not recommend. I washed them once and my dryer's lint catcher looked like I did ten loads of towels. First use left me feeling like I was a large lint ball myself with lint all over my wet body because it was NOT drying me off. Not to mention the little lint balls it left all over my shower stall.

I have washed these towels no less than 6 times and they are still dropping massive amounts of fizz/lint. My washing machine and dryer were COATED. Be sure to clean your dryer vents multiple times during the cycle to prevent a FIRE. We also had to clean the ducts out since the overflow lint collected there. The towels are still unusable. They absorb zero water and leave you coated in fur. I'm so disappointed I can't return them.
