Mainstays Performance Textured Bath Towel - Blue Linen

When you’re moving into your own place as a young adult, no one really talks about how expensive it is to get all the household essentials. So many towels I was finding were near $8-10 or more a piece… then I found these at Walmart. I love them. They’re more affordable than other towels, have durable and soft material, and are “oversized”. They absorb water nicely while you’re drying off from taking a shower or bath. They’ve held up nicely in the washer and dryer, and the color has not faded after several months of use. I have some purple ones from two years ago that are still in fantastic condition. Definitely worth the buy.

These towels are nice and great size but even after washing they had a really strange scent? Never had towels smell like this and no others in the house have this scent. Not impressed. Probably cheap materials

Honestly I didn't expect much from this towel. But man was I surprised its a decent size, its soft and looks durable and it's cute. I even ordered another color

I've been buying Mainstays towels for years. Excellent quality, great colors (although not always available), and the price is extremely reasonable!

This is a review of Mainstays Performance Textured Bath Towel, Blue Linen color. I'm a thrifty shopper and I pinch those pennies. Hard. I was afraid to buy these due to the reviews. Didn't know if I was going to end up fuzzy as a bear, with a towel in tatters or burn the house down from excessive dryer lint. I washed them before use, only had a normal amount of lint for new towels, they dried fluffy, no strings or bald spots. When I used them there was no fuzz left on me, they're very absorbent, dried great. I'm extremely pleased. Will be buying more.

Wish there were more colors at that price

Great soft towel! Only complaint I have is the little fuzzy pieces it leaves on you after the shower but for price it's a great towel

These towels are super soft and a great price. There was so much lint and fuzz in both the washer AND dryer. Even after they were dried, the material kept leaving the towel. I'm going to try and wash them again. Hopefully they won't totally disintegrate. Sad because they are super soft.

I washed these when I got them home. When I took them out of the dryer ther were two full handfulls of lint. The towels are not anything special in my book. They are too light to do a good job of drying you off after your shower.

Bought these to donate to my veterinarian practice. Didn't want to spend too much, so I could buy more towels. I also wash everything I donate to them in unscented detergent so they can use them immediately. However, when I washed these, there was so much lint! It was awful. Had to wash/dry them three times to get rid of it. So, couldn't return them, because they had been washed/dried so many times. Will never buy these again.
