These are definitely a gotta have, if you use loaves of bread frequently. We all know that the first time you take the twisty off, it goes into the witness protection program, never to be seen again. No more twist and roll or having to worry about stale bread. Just but the loaf in, and sleeve the bag on the outside as you got thru the loaf. The trick is to keep the bread all the way up to the lid, as to not allow alot of air. This will keep your bread fresh longer

Holds my fresh loaf of bread, it stands tall on the counter and I know what some family members are getting for Christmas. It is much stronger than I was expecting, very solid and made well. The top fits tight and has a tab to help remove it. The 4 holes in the bottom are part of the design. The plastic from the bread loaf sits on top of them. I like it and will order more for other uses in my pantry. Can't beat that price. It can be filled with other items and makes a great gift package. I'm thinking of my thread box in the sewing room. Stacking the thread, easy to see, keeps it dust free and takes up less space than the shoe box. A handy must have.

My resident had me make her a sandwich routinely This is the bread keeper she had. Because it kept her bread freshness intact and sealed tightly preventing infestation of ants etc. I had to get one of my own I have 2 one for wheat bread and one for white You fold the opening of the bread wrapping over the top and then you can slide the bread up to top by pushing down on outside overlapped bread wrapping raising the bread up inside container when needed No more reaching in and bending bread up or tearing the bread anymore.

Recommend if your sandwich bread is small. La Tour brand Japanese White Bread Made in Hawai'i did not fit even though the bread measures 5 inches x 5 inches and the bread container measurements are 5.25 inches x 5.25 inches. Wish it fit since the bread container is useful, durable %26 affordable.

Overall, it serves the purpose of what it is for. However, for me it doesn't seem to seal strong. But overall I'm satisfied with it and it seems to be keeping my bread fresh and easily available. Don't have to open or twist the bag just open and grab and snap the lid back on.

I didn't realize this was for bread but was another container for my cupboards. I tried it with my bread but it was moldy the next day. There's no way I will ever use it for bread. I'm just trying to figure out what I will do with a sealed container with holes in the bottom.

I bought these to protect my bread from ants and mice. They looked fine until I realized there were 4 holes in the bottom, and the bottom was raised a tiny bit, which would allow the little ants free access! There was not one word about HOLES in the product description or the specs! This is very near to fraudulent description. I didn't discover the holes until all the decals, etc. were removed and I was washing them out. Had I not needed them immediately, I would have returned them! As it was, I taped over the holes with duct tape and used them anyway. Angry and disappointed in the Mainstays description of this item. Usually, I can trust the brand. Not anymore.

I like the idea of a bread container-ours always gets demolished somehow-but this one has an odor I couldn't get rid of so I can't recommend buying it. Not sure what the plastic consists of, but I washed it the day of purchase and noticed the bread tasted weird a few days later. I've bleached it, peroxide and baking soda'd it, run it thru the dishwasher, smell's still there. It looks good and the price is decent, but if u're throwing out the loaf it's supposed to be saving for u…

What would possess Walmart to open holes in the bottom of this item!. Mine has 4 holes, the only reason I'm keeping it is because it's the perfect size that I need. I will put 4 glue dots to cover these holes so that I can use it. If this were in the description I never would have purchased it. Shame on you Walmart!
