Mainstays Reclining and Lay Flat Backpack Beach Chair

This was a Mother's Day gift for my mom who rides her bike to the beach. She says the straps are comfortable and the seat itself is well made. Loves the pocket and cup holder

My husband and I always buy our beach chairs from Walmart. Recently I feel the cost of chairs has been pathetic. I didn't want to spend the money on this one, but I'm so glad that I did. it is absolutely wonderful. I can carry this on my back without it hurting me at 48 years old. I also love the pocket where I can put all of my sunscreen, my keys, and my hairbrush. Don't underestimate this chair... it's fantastic!

I used this fantastic beach chair recently and was thoroughly pleased! It's comfortable to sit in, it lays back easily, and there's even a zipper compartment underneath the seat, big enough to keep a book, tablet, and a phone from getting damp and sandy. It also has a drink holder. The only issue I had was carrying it on my back. It has adjustable straps, but it was too heavy for me. I preferred to carry it in my hand. That allowed me to switch hands as needed. All in all, it's a great beach chair!

These are AMAZING. Light, sturdy, easy to transport two of them by myself…I love that it reclines completely so my child can lay down if they need to during long days in the son. These did scuff easily on the metal but doesn't impact their function. I got 2 chairs for less than the price of similar from brand names! Bring these back every year, please!

It was the perfect chair to relax in while sitting in water and not get sand up your bum. It could use some little changes to be perfect but this is as good as it will get with any lounge chair. Being able to carry it on your back is the best thing so you can free up your hands.

Lightweight and easy to over-the-shoulder carry. The pocket under the chair keeps your items secure and harder to steal. The cup holder is a must for me. I will miss having 2 side holders. This is my 4th and 5th of these chairs I have purchased. I live at the beach May -Oct. These will last 2 summers of frequent use. They are stored outdoors all year. The fabric wears out first.

Just came back from a week at the beach and this chair held up nicely. Took off a star for comfort. After sitting for awhile, my lower back began to hurt. Outside of that, I would recommend. Very easy to throw on your back freeing up your hands to carry a beach bag, etc.

This is a nice beach chair for the money. I wish the backrest was 3” higher. I am 5'4” and when lying flat in the chair my skull is resting on the hard metal frame. It comes with an attached pillow so i moved that to cushion my head. The cupholder is a joke. If you have a tall metal water bottle it will fall out as there is nothing you support the canvas holster. They should have attached it centered on the chair arm brace so at least there is a chance it may hang straight. My water bottle has fallen out several times and i only use the pocket for lip balm.

Nice chairs for the money. Pros- chairs are comfortable and while only used for a couple beach trips this year have held up nicely. Back pack straps are great for carrying to and from the beach. Cons - The storage bag for belongings is under the chair which causes a problem if you are sitting on the waters edge. The chairs are not as wide as I expected. Ensure you look at measurements. I would buy again for the price.

It's not aluminum. I bought it on line and then put it in my trunk from Walmarts back door delivery to take home. I couldn't believe how heavy these were when I got home and slung one over my shoulder with the strap.They couldn't be aluminum like they advertised. So I returned them for a full refund
